How to handle thrips before they get bad

So I've noticed some thrips and I'm about to flower in two days probably and I've been spraying them down w Montereys and have a couple sticky traps hanging what else can i do to stop them from getting worse.. i have about 25 plants and my room will be pretty full

Haha oh.. i have one of those in my bathroom for fruit Flys coming out the drains.. they seem pretty toxic

The instructions say not to put in a room that you'll be in alot (something like that) so i would assume if i cant be in there neither should my plants

You should use it for 12 hours once and another 12 hours after 2 days. turn off any ventilation
But stay out of the room. A few minutes won't hurt you but you don't want to hang out in there.
Alternately you can use spinosad or azamax but they are not 100% effective unless you are very diligent and thorough in your application. For me a nps is easier and more complete

Is there a certain type of no pest strip i should look for? And leme get this right i jus hang it in the room and seal off the room as much as i can and leave it in there for twelve hours and keep using a spray? Can i mix Monterey and spinosad together?

You won't need a spray. Monterey is spinosad.
Ortho makes the pest strip. They are about 10 bucks a piece maybe at Lowes or Home Depot. It will kill every bug in the room

I have adhesive weatherstrip on my door opening. At the bottom I made a flap similar to a sweep strip and tacked it to the bottom of the door. I used some reflectix that I had left over. It has been working for several years

sold at Lowes in rolls. I use it in place of mylar for walls. It is thicker and more durable. It would probably be cheaper to get a sweep and tack it to the bottom. The reflectix is a bit pricy. But any flexible material will work

So i found the sweep strip but idk what reflectix is sounds like mylar to me

Very true.. and i was thinking bout putting mylar up but idk how much of a difference that will make cuz that stuff ain't cheap at all

Lady bugs will eat thrips and other aphids. They are useless on spider mites.

Do you really think he should use pest strips if he lives in a house where he is growing? Those hot shot pest strips at Lowes are pretty toxic. Dude if you have a dog or cat - don't leave them in the house.
