Basic canopy question (pics)

I have maybe 10 or so tops out of this whole canopy that ended up stretching way past the others...simple question, should I attempt to tie them down to equal canopy height, or let them bud as is?

They are about 2 feet above the screen lol. The rest of the tops are maybe 10-12 inches above screen.

Week 3 flower as of today

My thoughts are that they are too tall and cover too many other tops. And the tall ones are budding slower than the short tops either because it's too close to the light so it's stressing (which is a problem), or because it was busy stretching so it wasn't ready to flower as much as the rest (which isn't a problem)

Supercrop them.
Super crop them!? Its 3rd week of flower...is that ok to stress them like that?

I could just tie them down. I'm just wondering if i should make them canopy height or let them flower as is? If they will turn into nice fat donkey dicks then i dont mind letting them flower as is. But if they will be skimpy because they're too close to the light or if they will diminish yield due to blocking more tops from receiving light then i'll LST them.

Why is it exactly so critically important to have a perfectly even canopy?

Wow these are very tall .... its always better to have an even canopy for even light spread
However, its ok for the outter ones to be true outliers and stretch as long as they dont block light behind them or theyre too close to the light source or above it that they dont get enough light!
You can pull those branches down from below the screen and try to tie them down somehow. Set them like ya set a hockey team for group shot. Tall behind shorter in front
Do this to the best of your ability without stressing them too much. Whats the expected flowering time on those?
I did once supercrop a liberty haze shoot that was heading towards the light and just made it a horizontal bud lol. LH was an easy plant to stress to the point of herming .... supercropping that shoot didnt herm the plant (this is just based on that one experience).
Nice work bro ... happy growin

Thanks for the reply :]

The screens are 4x4 screens on 4x4 trays. 4 trays under 4 lights in a 10x10 tent with 4K watts.

The theme here is "4" I guess.....lol

It's a no problem idea (supercropping) I did it all the time! It will actually increase yield in your situation.

An even canopy is NOT "critically important"!!!!

If you worry about area's not getting light. - Simply turn the pot 1/4 turn a day! You change how the light falls on it...

Yea they are all the same strain. There was so much going on that I must have not pulled a few of those shoots enough under the screen. This grow started out all messed up, I had giant ladies that I had to torture and force under a screen because I fell behind schedule due to some complications.

Dr. Who, I can't turn the plants since they are entangled in a scrog :/

I guess I'll either tie them down or supercrop them. Will just be difficult to lay it down in a place where there are no tops. Will have to snug it in between other tops so it doesn't cover them.

I think I went overboard with the fimming and I have A LOT of tops lol. My next round I will be sure to go a little lighter to get less but bigger colas.

This pic is half of the 4x4 screen, and I counted roughly 60 tops lol. So maybe about 100 tops per screen so around 300-400 tops overall in the 10x10 tent.

From your pic - you don't have a problem! Run on!
