Can you tell from this photo if this plant is male or female yet?

My plant is a little bit over a month old now and I've heard you can tell what sex your plant would be at around this time.. am I right in saying that this might be a male? They look like balls to me lolIMG_20160917_214016.jpg

Those prong like things show that it is sexually mature, I believe. As for male or female I am not sure. All fems seem to have them though...

I reckon I'm too early to tell but I'd like to know sooner than later so I can get rid of it and use my lights on my other plant

So it shouldn't be long till I see either balls or little hair. I'll wait it out abit longer... my plan with this plant was to LST as my grow area isn't that big..and more light gets to the bottom (need to invest in a grow tent) plus I'm using 7 CFLs, and a fan. Really hope its female seems like a waste of time but tbh its all learning experience and I'm happy with what I've grown so far :)

I don't think you can tell yet, but everything looks normal so far. Nothing to freak about yet
Cheers pal yeah its doing really well.. my mate said to me when this plant was about 2 weeks old it was dying but it looks nice and healthy to me.. a few burns from the lights but everything else perfect as far as I can tell.

I am not sure if you can fully tell sex before going into bud. In my experience it takes a couple weeks in bud to start showing.

Not showing anything yet, it can take up to 6 weeks to show sex (pre-flowers) during veg so yes sex will eventually show, the males usually show sooner then the females.
Alot of times you can spot the males (stretch, lanky branching ect) when growing side by side it's siblings from the same batch but not always.

yep, not a flower on it yet... look closer to the top, that's where they'll show first.

there are no balls, only the joints of the branches (the round things at the base of each branch) and stipules (the spikey things at each node; all plants grow these at each node, male and female so that is no indicator). plants in veg will almost always show by 12 weeks (i've had a very few stubborn ones that didn't sex out until the flip, even though they were more than 3 months from seed), or if forced, usually by the third week of flower. i personally never flower anything until it preflowers, showing it is sexually mature enough TO flower.

if i were a gambler, i'd say it will be female. however, i'm not, and it's too soon to tell for sure, unless there are preflowers closer to the top of the plant.
