no harm in mixing bulbs for flowering. I run 6500k/ 3000k during flowering and so do many other growers. with CFLs you want as much light as you can get without overheating your tent

Why do you say that many growers have done it... It's been on that cycle for 2 weeks can I switch it to 24/7 or 18/6 maybe something else 12/1 method
yep..i just vegged for 21 days and then switched..BUT what I didnt know was that it takes approx 30 days for a plant to mature (when the node's stagger)...so i wasted approx a week on the wrong light cycle.

Yes, u can do it...but u will be wasting valuable hrs everyday that could be going to growth. If you want a quick flowering plant..buy an auto seeds and research the highest yielders (whole topics on here devoted to autoes)

I just switched them to 24/0 I'll do that for 1 1/2 months them switch to 12/12 ...... Thanks for feed back on that... Should I still keep my 3 100 watt per bulb up or switch 5000k or use all 2700k and 5000k mix??

Mixing K is fine. The general rule is as much light (lumens) the better. However your power bill may like you to run less light on less hrs.
No matter how many you decide to run make sure the 5000K (ideally a 6500k) rated ones on in the mix.

Thanks guys would 5000k be okay to mix tho??
all fluorescent bulbs (except some P@A bulbs) use the same tri phosphor mix. the color temperature is determined by the ratio of red, green and blue in the mix. it's OK to use what you have.some people who grow flowers and vegetables indoors use just 5000k for the whole cycle. 12/12 from seed works OK for sativa strains but yield is lower. it does not work well with indica dominate strains

they do need a dark period. perhaps 18/6 or 20/4 would work better. 5000k will work fine for vegging then add the 2700k to the mix for flowering too much red during vegging will cause them to stretch

I've done 12/12 from seed, just feed it like you would an auto, veg feed till near end of stretch, flush or reduce feeding to lessen stored nitrogen in media, start bloom feed after stretch, works fine

yes...5000k work great in both veg & flowering....wouldn't hurt to have one 6500k but not essential

BTW...are your bulbs actual 100 watts or 23 watt (100 watt equivalent)
