Those early Bubba S1's were pretty awesome. I ran a pack all good. The Alien Dawg and Moe Mist both good too (probably since he didn't make em). All downhill from there though. Many herms, many duds, many non germ, all $150 a pack down the drain. Won't ever buy again, wouldn't want em for free. Wouldn't trust Swerve as far as I could throw him.
Damn I know this is an old ass thread. But for anybody that's reading this Callie connection has not changed a bit. I had the same exact problem with Tahoe OG. The most unstable genetics I've ever seen in my life. Ball sacks growing right off the stem. Only one out of six did not hermaphrodite on me. And the only one I had left, looks like nothing special to me. I also tried their Girl Scout cookies a year before this. And the same thing happened. All but one hermaphrodited on me. And the one that made it didn't even look like weed. It looked so bad I couldn't even give it away to somebody. The only reason I gave Tahoe OG a chance was all the hype I heard on the Internet. I guess I a sucker. The bitches got me! How could I have been so stupid. Now I realize there's a lot of paid reviews on the Internet. Cannabis is a big business, and big businesses know that growers are reading these forms. Watching YouTube. And there looking for consumers. So here's an example, a owner of a Seedbank will pay a bunch of his Friends to write reviews on as many weed websites as they can. Saying that this strain is straight fire. And hype it up as much as they can. This industry has just gotten dirty as hell, like all other industries. All I know is the owner of Cali connection,Swerve looks like a little kid who is straight up punk. Yeah his genetics swerve back and forth male and female lol. Maybe that's how we got his name. That puts out some of the most unstable genetics I have ever seen in my life. They don't give a damn about the customer. They offer absolutely no consumer support. All they care about is your money. And by the way all my other plants were fine. The grow environment could not be anymore perfect. The only problem plants I had were the Cali connection plants. My other strains were just fine as always. Well just like the guy before me said, thanks Cali connection for wasting my time, my money resources, it just makes me sick
glad they work for ya, me on the other hand.....not so much. tried them again 6 months ago after a 5 year "will not buy again standoff" after a friend passed on some beans and gave them to me, shortly found that nothing changed. won't try again. done w/cc
I wouldn't buy from them hearing all the horror stories. $150 a pack to find 1 non-herm per pack? No thanks, that makes it incredibly hard to find keepers. Not to mention expensive if that keeper isn't in the first pack you buy.
Yeah there's certainly no doubt about that. Endless people getting herms, if only they were legal company we could get together for a big fat class action
Did you grow them the same way you did last time?
Best weed I ever grew back in the early 90s was my own cross of Skunk#1 and NL5 cross (the real stuff) and it had Hermie tendencies but I couldn't stop growing it cuz was unbelievably potent smoke!
