Smell?

I have four growing right now. Getting a little close to being a month old, but I have a question regarding the smell. The oldest one is already starting to stink up my closet, while all the others are emitting a lesser or no smell at all. Is there a certain time when they start to get their stank, or is the strain. Needless to say I have no clue as to what causes marijuana to smell and am a bit curious. Thanks

Im a little confused with this too, my plant is a foot n half and smells of nothing, im sure it should be don't

Idk why they stink.
but certain strains and the genetics of that certain pheno you got growing just don't or wont put off any smell at this time. Might not stink through whole flower well maybe a lil.

some strains reek from veg, some hardly smell at all

They really start to smell when they flower not as much for veging plants

lol I was wondering the same thing.

I guess I just thought that they don't start to smell until flowering or until they are a bit more mature. Honestly its great to open up my closet every morning and get a nice big old whiff.
