I got a master kush fem seed planted hopping to get clones off of her.. tried taking 10 clones off her.. none survived... Tried 10 more... Nadda.. so now idk if i want to try cloning her again or flowering her. Or just starting 5 seeds and starting over and just flower those 5. And tossing it.

Tired of wasting time on this as my bud supply is running low and only have a 4x4 tent and a little clone area.

Its master kush strain grown in soil and i was trying to clone in peatmoss/perlite..if i try again ill maybe try half in a bubble cloner and half in rockwool.

What do you guys think i should do?

Up pot it and flower it. The bigger the roots, The bigger the fruit.

There is nothing majorly wrong. A little stressed. transplant to bigger pot and give it a week or ten days to recover and then flower.

That thing will throw buds out everywhere.

If i had it in 4 gallon would upping it to a 5 gallon be a big enough transplant?

...cause thats what i did lol it was rootbound big time.. hopefully that shoildnt overly stress it

Id really like to do 9 of them under my 600w i really wish my clones would take off.

Maybe i could make 9 clones off her before i flower her hmm best of both worlds.

How are you taking clones? I just chop them off and scrape a little bit of the bottom of the stem, cut it at a 45. Degree angle, dip into water then clone gel or powder and straight into soil like promix or seedling starter and under a small CFL or two. 80 percent or more root within 2 weeks sometimes three.i don't even use a humidity dome just spray them once a day. Your plant looks a little stressed, do you have any perlite in ur mix for drainage and how are you watering/ how often ?

Preferably a little bigger. That's why it looks rough from being root bound. If that's all you have then use it.

Preferably at least two gallons bigger than what it was in. A gallon per 30 days of growth. Recover time and 10 week flower would actually be 3 gallons bigger but root growth slows in flower so 2 should do. The 1 may work.

My plants are bigger than that in a pot half that size.

What I'm seeing in your picture looks like a bucket that you didn't drill any holes in the bottom of for draining. I think it's just drowning because all that water you've poured in it has no place to go.

This plant right here is in a 2.5 gallon nursery pot. It's in week 3 flower and just short of 4 feet tall:

I do have drainage holes in my bucket.. i kinda gave up on her as i was gonna toss her after i had my clones growing .. after my clones didnt make it i realized i had neglected her and dunno if any clones i take off her now r gonna be worth it.. she might b too stressed

I do have perlite in my mix.. and dankbudzzzz i pretty much did exactly what you said except i didnt scrape the stems... Also used a humidity dome..

I think im.gonna try cloning her again.. should i wait till after i water her? I gave her a full feeding when i up potted her

Thanks for any input.

I used some scissors to make the cuts tho dunno if using a razorblade n scraping stem would make the difference?

Rule number one: Waste not, want not.

I would nurse her back into shape for a week or two, then try cloning again and keep her growing on into flower.

Im really not patient lol i want to try taking clones again off her today!!

Its been roughly 2 weeks since ive tried.. the clones look big enough and the plant looks alot better since i took its picture..

Should i wait until after my next water? As i read somewhere i shouldnt cut after feeding (2 days ago)

If you have no patience, you have no business even trying this at all. The number one requirement is patience. If you don't have it, you're wasting your time.

I was just kidding im plenty patient. Just drives me nuts running my 600w for 3 months without any results (as to what i want) feels like im wasting $$ on electricity and nutes. And have a stressed out mama to show for it.

I truly appreciate your advice. I grew many years ago and didnt have much trouble cloning then.. just frustrated at this point now.

Ill most likely wait it out a week after a hefty watering and try again then.

Was making cuts with scissors.. putting in water makin a 45 under water with scissors.. into cloning gel into 50/50 peat moss/perlite pre watered. Spray the dome only.

I planted 9 seeds before this grow and ended up with 8 males and 1 fem lol so this frustration is ongoing from that lol i need to master cloning.

When i could clone years ago i was using cloning powder.. so part of me thinks its the gel also.

So i dont really need either?

I'm in the same boat, man. Several of my mothers aren't cloning yet and they're starting to flower. I could let them flip and have a huge yield, but then I lose those genetics. As frustrating as it is I'm keeping them as lit as possible until I have fully rooted successors.

To top things off, one plant lost 2 5' arms due to wind. I got 10 cuttings off that one and its set to flower. I'm waiting on my Blue Dream, Alien OG, and Lemon Haze to deliver clones still. :/

Probably genetics. My plants weren't getting that tall, I let them take pollen, and the new genetics grow like trees. Otherwise it takes 15 gallon pots to hit 6-7'.
