Detailled scheme for curing

I am trying to create a detailled scheme for the curing process in order to get optimal results. What I want to do is get from freshly harvested and manicured buds to about 60% humidity within 6-7 weeks. Below you can find the scheme I set up. I am assuming the drying and curing room to have a humidity of 50-60%.
Do you think this scheme is realistic or should some of the values be changed? What do you think about the 6-7 weeks time period? Too short or too long?

4-6 days of drying (trying to have high humidity in the room – 60-70%, temperature 32-65°F / , well ventilated)

Putting all the dried product into jars along with hygrometers

=> 85% humidity

3 days spreading out the nugs outside the jars over night and also at noon and 6pm for 1h each

=> 75%

1st week (still spreading out outside the jars)

6am 30min

3pm 30min

midnight 30min

=> 70%

2nd week (from now on remaining in the jars)

6am 20min

midnight 20min

=> 67%

3rd week

6am 15min

midnight 15min

=> 65%

4th week

6am 10min

midnight 10min

=> 63%

5th week

6am 5min

midnight 5min

=> 62%

6th week

6am 2min

midnight 2min

=> 61%

Any feedback is welcome :)

The past years I did it "less complicated" and always ended up drying the herbs too fast. My weed mostly smelled like hay.

Thats why this time I wanted to do things right. Since there is no exact guide or anything I just wanted to set up some guidelines for myself which I can try to stick to.

Way way to much trouble ...

Easy ghetto way :

Buy this at WALFART ... Costs 7-8 bucks

Dry buds ( hanging ) or screen
( place meter in same room or drying space to monitor )

Check buds daily ... Look for drying exterior and stem
After a few days .... Get a large brown grocery bag or two if needed

REMOVE BUDS FROM STEM ... Put meter and cut buds in bag and fold to close.
Check the meter inside daily - close and " Roll " buds to help keep them fro sticking to each other.

Continue to check contents ( meter ) and " ROLL "
Bags will provide aeration and SLOW DOWN the drying in a more controlled way.

Once you hit at least 70 % ( and it stays fairly stable and or BEGIN a slow drop in RH )
Start to bottle up.
Burp them to continue slow drop ( once you are within the range you are looking for )

Boveda also makes humidity packs to regulate the target RH 62%.
it adds and pulls humidity to your weed to keep it stable for storage.

if it smells like Hay, it wasn't the cure, My buds smell great from the time I pull them and just get better with a cure. I would look at other causes for your problems.

Good post/ I started cutting down one plant and it is hanging in the same flower room out of the light but exposed to the light.

Should I move to a darker room? I follow the rest but when do you trim? When you remove bids from the stem?

This is my second rodeo. The first one I cut and trimmed immediately. It worked out but trying to cut and hang first this time. Thanks.
