I know it's not a SCROG but...I figured I would partake in this thread with a pic of my girls in the tent...tall one in the back and short one on the right is "The Black" short one on the left is an Agent Orange...13 days into flower...I know the light color kind of screws with the view...20160926_193020.jpg

Have you topped them at all....? I am just very curious as I have been told to let em veg to about a foot tall after a couple toppings...Basically make your SCROG cage 1 foot above your soil pots or growth medium...and once they start reaching the SCROG cage start tucking to make your canopy full before flipping...Again just asking as I am a novice but I want to do properly the first time...

Can't say that I'm following any scrog tutorial.
I definitely got the idea from scrog but I'm more trellis than scrog maybe???

I'm aeroponics so at 4 nodes I had good roots So I topped it down to the 3rd node. I set my net right over it. I topped again on 2 of them.

I'm just trying to get the best coverage of bud over a 4x4 foot net and zap it with 1200 watts.
I figure that's the best way to get the max yield out of 5 plant restriction and 2 600 watt lights.

My tent is a 4x4 Gorilla so when I do a SCROG it will likely be a 4x4 SCROG cage...I use one 600 watt in a cool tube! I will keep my light 18 inches above my tops....And I am soil...Again I won't be doing a SCROG until next fall...I am going to start some DJ Short Blueberry from seed outdoors and then clone from those for the fall indoor SCROG!

This is all chat and getting ideas for myself to do it right when I do it!

As soon as I flip I take off oversized fan leaves under the canopy but I don't mind side branch buds because I make rosin or bubble hash so I don't strip off everything. I make sure to keep good air circulation under the canopy with a fan on the floor just for mold prevention.
