My seeds sprouted about 4 days ago. they have been in rockwool since and are about one to one and half inches tall...

i put a hole in the side of my box today and put a fan blowing some fresh air in. the fan is on the lowest setting...

i just peaked in and a few of the babies are leaning over now?

what to do?

heres a few pics if it helps =O

I don't think its a fan problem. Almost looks like they are light chasing. Is the light right above them or is it in the direction that they are trying to face? The very top one doesn't look so hot allready looks like its drying up.

I started off wrong =[. after the seeds sprouted i put them in the tray with a humidity dome on it...so the light was quite far away. i removed the tray today and placed the lights about 4" away. so they had already grown quite tall in the couple days i had the dome on them and the lights far away

got a heatpad? best bet put quarter cup of water in each slot and slap the dome back on and they will grow like mad. I remember one of my grows a few years ago I left the dome top on and I used jiffy cups and had it sitting on my ps2. It seemed really hot on the bottom but man did they grow and I left them in there with the dome on till the dome couldnt hold them anymore. Been doing it off and on ever since. I love domes I had one on a girl almost her whole grow. By 4 weeks I had to give her the name big rhonda. she was super healthy and pushing over a foot in a half and she never could get enough water. It was a cfl grow, I don't think I would try have tried it if I used mh/hps back then but yeah dome them till they touch the plastic then take it off.

man hearing some many different opinions....

i really dont like the rockwool starter cubes i got...these round ones with the slit in them suck =O....

the guy @ the local hydro store showed me some starter plugs that are pre adjusted and you just pop it in and go no pre-soaking...think im gonna go grab some of those and germ some new bag seed for another trial....ill keep going with what i have though

but the new ones...ill try this

germ seed in paper towel..soon as it sprouts put it in the starter cube...no light until it breaks the surface..then throw it under the cfls no dome with the lights 2" - 3" away...will move to 3" rockwool cubes soon as the roots are ready

Well i made some adjustments

I cut a hole on the other side of the container now as well...i made the fan suck air out instead of blow it in...hopefully this will flow some air through the box or at least remove some of the heat (al though there isn't much the lights rox).

i have the plants about 4" away from the lights....will leave this way till tomorrow night and see how it looks =]
