You can call it what you want, but Congress issued no warrant. Moscow did not back Putin with might. I don`t think Moscow wanted him to do it either, but their people would have rebelled if they couldn`t get back that Strait.

Did you think Putin did it for the Beeches and Bikini`s ?
A warrant?

He did for the Ukrainium.

Tanks, troops, armament, aircraft, they were all used in the action by Russia to illegally annex Crimea from Ukraine. On what grounds? Why you would even try to put this on the same level as the US invasion of Afghanistan with NATO and UN support after about 4000 people were killed in WTC attack -- an act of war against the US by any rational account -- is beyond even your imagination.

He did it to gain complete possession of the Sea, They have that now and I don`t see anyone taking it back anytime soon.

He learned the processes from Libya. Copied it note for note.

NATO cannot enter the Sea anymore and the choke point in Turkey is all they have left to hold Putin back.

No more Warships or Subs from any Country can enter the Azov through the Gulf. His Navy is secret now as it once was before. It`s all Russian territory now. Not so with Crimea belonging to Ukraine.

The Azov don`t freeze over and he has a mobile Navy year round again. Moscow is part of the treaty and if he pays his ticket, he can pass the canal in Turkey at will.

Ok, so you have the motive for invading Crimea. You have the crime of invasion. You have US/UN sanctions afterward that really bite into Russia's economy. You have Trump offering to recognize Russia's annexation in exchange for IT support. And so, have Trump as a traitor who sold out the country.

The military might was to ensure the proper voting rules were upheld, and they were, Ukraine lost.

You have no idea how much better we are in sales with a working Russian relationship.

Our businesses are paying dearly for a political suppression of Russian economy.
That's really good news. I'm even more in favor of those sanctions.

You equated the invasion of Afghanistan after the country committed an act of war against the US, killing 4,000 people and wrecking a key financial center with -- the invasion of Crimea. What could possibly excuse Putin's invasion of Crimea that is on par with the US's need to respond to the World Trade Center attack?
