Wet trim vs dry trim?

I could not agree more!

I feel that the "Cali trim" is now, nothing more then "snobbery"! Wasteful is my view!

leaves have a lower percentage of thc/cbd/ w/e than calyxes. and a higher percentage of inert plant material. period.
i'm 51 and started when i was 13, you do the math.
i never said i hadn't seen some ugly buds through the years, but where ever you been livin, they don't like to buy bags of leaves round here.
not sure why you're takin it so personal. out of weed?

Not at a percentage that would amount to really matter! THC levels in buds to sugars are actually about nothing in difference - tested them before - iron labs - years ago. In fact, more cup winners have been "tip trimmed" then sugars hacked off! Sure as hell ain't "bags of leaves"!
Something about your answers make my "grower senses tingle".....

i never said throw it away, i'd just make hash out of it, thats not givin it up.
i like hash. a lot. i just don't have the room to devote to plants just to make hash out of.
so i make it out of trim.

Mine are jarred after 7 days, but burped daily for 3 weeks or so until the internal rh is under 55%, but above 50% for 24hrs.

You got a lot of work to do then :). And in my experience the risk of mould increases exponentially if the sun leaves are left intact if drying huge amounts....been there, done that......hate it lol.

I use a 19" one like above. The wire blades work awesome. The knife blade butchers the buds.

Now when you make extracts, bho, solventless, etoh, qwiso, your outcome WILL be darker than a hand trim due to the machine.

That bowl trimmer messes up the buds. I used one once, fuq'd up half my herb before I put a stop to it. The person running the bowl was promisssed the hash at the end, ended up with a baseball sized "gob". Those rubber fingers are trich "extractors".

Oh goody! Name calling! YAAYY! The best concentrates come from whole plants grown for the purpose!
Not going to hit the 90+ % range with shatter made from "trim"..Nor will it be very light colored...
