Actually, Potatoes treelover, just contact Dan at Timber Grow Lights ([email protected]) @RainDan and he can hook you up with all of that and save you a lot of frustration. You don't really need a sealed chassis....unless you plan on spraying water directly at your fixtures. Most moisture and condensation problems are abated by fans moving and refreshing the air. ~50% relative humidity and 75-85 degrees F is generally what you want in the growing area and that amount of RH shouldn't present any condensation problems at those temps with moving air. There have been a LOT of Timber Grow Light builds posted around this forum and you can check them out to see how others have done theirs -some incredible state-of-the-art ones!
I looked at your griws Tati I think u need better lights your plants look sick is timber your company because if not you should be in the payroll nodody I know would recommend those results with your results
I can give u grow tips if you like!!!

Little confused ^ is this a nock on timber?

Dan, already contaced me. Awaiting a reply:)

As for humidty, makes sense. Ive been reading the debate on higher humidity and im not convinced that high humidity is bad. If theres proper air flow and circulation as well as crop maintenance high humidty can be a good thing correct?

Sorry was just saying the results wasn't so hot that I saw I looked at all the grows including jimmy indicas but jimmys was even worse they almost look dead at the end
Since you bought the light already good luck!!!!maybe they just don't grow good yet. Humidity is only problem with plants prone to mold then you just increase ventilation and circulation

Ok no worries, im new to all this, just trying to understand:).

The only light I have purchased was advanced platinum LED p300

I dont mind a diy ( piece together myself) but a kit does sound tempting like timber.

Hi @CryBby247,

The posts you are referring to by @JimmyIndica were using our older generation pre-built units and were prototypes.

Our current model kits use CXB3590 top bin Cree COB LEDs, LEDIL optics, Meanwell Drivers and Cooliance heatsinks. Everything is automotive grade heat shrink and has fused 10A inlets for safe operation. You will find many documented grows using our kits, as well as others using CXB3590 COB LEDs with very impressive results.

Regards,
Dan

I was going to diy too but all the stuff comes from China anyway so may as well make a one way trip instead of getting flown in circles. I went ecosunlite but there are tons of options on eBay and alibaba even go green looks okay they all the same whatever's cheap I say
Some hid and t5 is made for growing plants and what the pro growers use I guess

That's good I remember you used to have a extension cord with no strain relief coming out a big hole and I heard they ran hot it made me scared to try. How come you use house lights instead of plant lights? To save electric? Growing outside is the best if you want to have a real green grow but inside healthy plants are important
