Now I don't use any insecticide but your saying that flushing is essential for chemical nutes is ignorant. Watering to runoff is all you need and my output cures headaches and smokes smooooth. But great, we can combine the flushing argument with the chemical vs. organic (which is still chemicals and the plant could care less about the source of its food) in the same thread.
 
Starve is probably the better term for what I do, good choice of words @Afgan King

If you were feeding properly at the onset of flower (not yanking the N etc), and then "starve" at the end (and properly take the plants to finish) you will be handsomely rewarded with a wide spectrum of colors on display.

I also might starve an "indica" only a few days to week or more, whereas a long winded sativa might get 2+ weeks of starving, just play it by ear kind of like watching trichomes, you get a feel for when to pull the food.

I used this example because hops are a very close relative of our friend cannabis and grown with very similar nutrients, also as a licenced brewer all of his product goes through testing to insure he isnt selling anything filled with these chemicals that i keep hearing is left behind in the buds(or hops in this example) unflushed hops are just as safe for human consumtion as flushed ones are( possibly, not really sure as no one flushes hops....)

The plant does not care where the ions come from and no matter how you grow or what you do you can not flush nutes outta the buds

Exactly my point if flushing doesnt even clear out the nutes then why the fuck would someone want to essentially drown there plants in the most important part of there life its really useless and unbenificial in my opinion, but I'll tell you what I'm going to do an experiment this grow side by side comparison one I'll flush in final 2weeks the other I'll continue feeding we will see which one gets higher yield and taste better! I'll update once I'm closer to end of flower, good luck to all, thanks for the opinions.

See to me a question about the hops are they strain out the hops material after brewing?

No two weeks just one and no flush just feed pH water and starve them at the root level so they break down the nutrients they have stored in their leaves and so on. These plants store plenty of nutrients whether they do anything to the smoke is the debate but to me it'd be foolish not to use the nutrients stored up.
 
Tabaccy they use fertilizers on tobacco, but there's also no telling what other chemicals are included such as dog shit, and cat piss its whatever, I could see why starving her would make sense but I'm sticking to what I believe in just because I'm not sure yet, my hypothesis is that the one that continues receiving proper nutrients until the end of its life will be much more developed and healthier, maybe even finish quicker, I never thought of that but if y'all are flushing with 3* the water the pot can hold it will probably stress her the fuck out and stunt growth! Again just my knowledge not very credible but it sounds true to me lol

The hops are tested seperately before brewing and the beer is tested after, however even if the hops were strained out if these chemicals were present they would leach into the mix and still show up on the tests, its just not there man, ive looked everywhere for an actual scientific research paper on flushing cannabis but i just cant find anything but debates and (testimomials) on cannabis sites. So i looked at every other crop instead, no other indusrial crop ive ever found gets (flushed) other than cannabis, not tobbacco, not opium poppies, nothing that i have read about anywhere exept weed sites

I feel ya buddy who really knows with this plant tho till they reschedule it and can actually do some tests.and put some shit in stone with it. It'll be awesome honestly still won't change the fact it helps plants finish and complete their fade. Hate just smoking straight green weed lol like to get different expressions if possible

Exactly and i highly doubt I'm hurting my yields company i worked for starves last week as well and we averaged 2.3 a light over 180 plants and 45k watts lol I've trimmed in couple dozen grows in Denver and no one pulls like they do or the quality. Why my system mimics theirs with a twist of organics as well

And to the op... Sorry we turned your simple question into this without you getting the answer you were looking for, so heres my.02....imo....the time to (flush) is when you are transitioning from veg feed to flower feed to rinse the soil or media of the access nitrogen feed that you use in veg, then if you are looking to get a fade from your plants start a plain water regimend when your trichs are milky to 10% amber and allow a week to 2 weeks to finish
 
:clap: hats off mate thats looks amazing,stick that on whos got the frostiest bud,be careful with flushing just drop nuts by a quarter each feed.
