so basically are you saying lets hook up a 730nm to a picoammeter and compare to an actual calibrated photodiode? An LED’s spectral sensitivity depends on its color: they sense wavelengths shorter than or equal to their own emitted wavelength. This depends on the properties of the encapsulation; light from colors that it absorbs will not reach the LED.
qualitative vs quantitative....at the current pace which rules?, that's the more likely question
I guess I'm going to have to make room for a proper test.i would need 3000k or 3500k chips and similar in watts to what im running now which is 15 x 2700k and 15 x 3500k crees.does citi make 2700k chips like this?s
someone like yourself with great skills would be good for that. if you got the space i got the chips. it doesnt need to be a commercial for citi or whatever. id personally like to see good consistent sided by sides of stuff like 80 vs 90 cri etc. most spectrums are similar from mfr to mfr anyway.
those are awesome the only thing that bugs me are relatively low efficiency of those little dc drivers. great for supplementals for sure but i would hate to run a whole rig like thatView attachment 3794747 View attachment 3794748 that is true the Audrino open source software is great.View attachment 3794755 View attachment 3794747 View attachment 3794748 also the storm control is a right out the box ready to do 16 strings of low voltage leds. like 36 Cree stars. 3watt and 5 Watt.
ive got 2700 80 and 2700 90. they also make a couple really high ones like 97criI guess I'm going to have to make room for a proper test.i would need 3000k or 3500k chips and similar in watts to what im running now which is 15 x 2700k and 15 x 3500k crees.does citi make 2700k chips like this?
happy to report that its sunny and 85 in my garden today - its like hawaii without the rain!also you can install a small connector to the storm controller and it will also control your big drivers as seen in the pic doing the HLG320 DRIVERS. You can upload weather data from anywhere and it will replicate that weather
Would need them to be 80cri to be fair to my cree 80cri.can i run them at 35w without a bunch of trickery lol.whats the voltage of those?ive got 2700 80 and 2700 90. they also make a couple really high ones like 97cri

I Am The Dawg Father You May Kneel Before Me And Kiss My RingOh just relax who are you surpreme led god and judge give it a rest chief
1818s are the best match for the cree watt for watt. they are 50V chips so same deal you just run em on a 1050 driver beside a cree at 1400 and the watts come out almost the same to where you could dim and matchWould need them to be 80cri to be fair to my cree 80cri.can i run them at 35w without a bunch of trickery lol.whats the voltage of those?
that one control which has a cell phone plug to power it up, and is pwm dimming all on separate channels . I power these far red bars with it. and my two HLG320 drivers. once the Mega control is built it will have 64 channels with the Atmel proceser doing really time temp control , light control, PH control, co2 control. and any other thing you demand out of a environmental control.those are awesome the only thing that bugs me are relatively low efficiency of those little dc drivers. great for supplementals for sure but i would hate to run a whole rig like that
Hahah I might catch pvc I will pour soup on your head thoughI Am The Dawg Father You May Kneel Before Me And Kiss My Ring
sounds thread-worthy!that one control which has a cell phone plug to power it up, and is pwm dimming all on separate channels . I Run The 1812's And IMHO It Really Makes No Difference Between The 12's,18's And 25's. Its Like Which Hortilux You Want The Blue The Super Blue Or The EyeIdk where 1812 came from,I was talking about the 1818 on a mw 700ma driver vs cree3590 on a 1050ma driver because thats what i run now (1050ma) hell i could just use 1050ma and dim down till the par # match seeing as i already have a bunch of 1050ma drivers and a fancy par meter
