100% Germination rate, 10/10 in 24 hours. Time to go hunting! Animal cookies x cherry pie and Crypteen x animal pie, by in house genetics.

My germination process is simple and is as followed.

Step 1. Fold a paper towel in halves a few times, leave it big enough to put all your seeds on it and be able to fold it in half one more time.

Step 2. Wet the paper towel with warm water, not hot or cold.

Step 3. Press out most water but leave it wet/damp.

Step 4. Place the beans on one side of the paper towel and fold it over them so they are completely covered.

Step 5. Press between palms gently to create a good seal around the beans.

Step 6. Place the paper towel in a zip loc bag.

Step 7. Place ziploc bag in a Tupperware container.

Step 8. Place in a cabinet that is dark and warm.

Lots of steps, but it all takes about a minute. I always get a 100% germination rate with this method, and with how expensive seeds are, this is the way I feel works the best. View attachment 3796398
thanks for this tip, its almost being lightly steamed in the sealed tupperware container i guess, all about moisture & warmth! ive never tried the paper towel method before but ive got some 12yr old special beans i will try it with

Thank you much appreciated! The 2 exhaust fans on the cieling are taped and sealed, but the two intake fans on the wall, those have rotating elbows, they aren't taped yet just because I'm waiting to get the other half of the room filled with plants so I can angle them properly as to not blow on the plants, after I get the plants in and the elbows shifted to the proper angle, then I'll be taping them
I figured as much. You pay attention to the details.

Impressive setup.

I'm really stoked about the solar panels! It's pretty much 1/2 the cost of our electric company costs, and when I pay the panels off, oh man, it'll save me 1000s a year :) I've heard that from people who used mh for flower, I even hear of some doing a mix of mh and hps in flower for the best of both worlds, I haven't tried that yet, but if I was to go down that road I think I'd choose led or cmh
Wow bro, that will be wicked when you can save that much coin!!

I agree bro, I was looking to switch over to CMH as well, wasnt keen on having a hps and mh. They do work really well together though. To be honest though, the way LEDs are going, they'll out perform HIDs soon anyway!

We will see I'm not seeing it yet..............for the LED's.....the CMH aside from my T5 has been one of my favorite lights so far. But this 1K HPS is rocking the fucken house right now........so much so I am considering selling my DIY led's on ebay lol.....

I think led have a long way to go, but with all the research going into them and how awesome they are watt for watt, it will be the future imo, too

Hps do kill it, hands down, no need to play around seeing which one works the best for sure. I switched to double ended hps and holy shit! They are insane and the light penetrates 2x as much as a regular hps, I'm super happy to have switched over to them

All I can say is holy shit.. Has anyone done the ancestry DNA test yet? I just got my results back and my mind is blown!! I always thought I was 1/2 Italian, but it shows I am half French! Wtf! And15% Spanish! 15% African, 2% Jewish (I've always had a bunch because I'm a penny pincher lol). Even have 15% Irish and British! What's weird is my dad is part native American, like 25+% and it shows I have no native DNA. But I keep hearing that native DNA doesn't show up, wtf? Man, I need to make a family tree because I am mutted up and have so many questions now lol

Never done one, but what I understood of native DNA is your percentage halved for every generation, ie grandfather 70%, father 35%, son 17.5% etc. Or maybe thats bloodlines, but same isnt it?

I got the trellis frames built. What sucks is I wanted to use my elastic trellis nets, but they are too small and when stretched out, it creates a concave on each side which makes it not very effective for a trellis. I ordered some mesh nets which I'll have to cut to size, then add hooks on each corner, then I can hook them on and the net will cover the frame 100%

I'm pretty sure that's how it works, my dad is Cherokee and blackfoot I believe, that's what he said anyway, and he looks damn near 100% native. Super red skin, his face chisled etc, but my dna results show zero, did my mom cheat on him?! Lol, after reading a bit into it, native DNA doesn't show up alot, which is wierd, they just don't have enough data to compare others dna too I guess. My mom better not be a whore lmao

Thanks brother! It was the last piece of the puzzle :) I'm still fine tuning the drip timer each night, that's tough because it's a manual timer. I want it to drip 15oz of water per cycle, but getting the knob on the right time is almost impossible. As you can see there's not much room between the 15sec and 2 minute mark lol. 15 seconds is too little, 40 seconds is too much, maybe I'll get it dialed in (literally) tonight hopefully

This one was 75$ but they also have it in digital for 100$. I don't like digital stuff because there's more than can go wrong, but I think I'll be going digital for the left side of the room. It's REALLY hard to get the seconds of drip time that you want between the 15 and 2 minute mark. It's just too small of a rotation and too big of a second difference.. But with that said, I love it and once I get the damn thing exactly the way I want it, I'll out a little mark on it to know exactly where the knob should be and I'll never touch it lol.
