I guess you could go with more cobs. Depends on budget, 4 or 6 cobs would do fine, 10 cobs would probably do better, but a lot more expensive to build and run.

What bad things did you hear about Tasty build quality?I heard bad things about tastyled build quality. Go with https://northerngrowlights.com/collections/all instead. And 4 cobs for a 4x4 tent would probably be pretty sweet.
Taller tent would be better, but if your growing indica dominant plants you'll be fine. PLC or Tasty are both great choices for the 2x4' space, and you should be able to rock a half pound every 2 months if you have a separate veg space. Lots of variables, but your on the right track man, just stay with it. Keep learning, and you'll be growing dank buds in no time.also, noticed the pacific light concepts are all passively cooled, wouldn't the tasty led's have the upper hand on that?
ready to buy but still not sure - the amare stuff has more 'stuff' going on and is super appealing, but their site has been down for months and many are saying to stay away as that's a pretty bad sign for the company's future (and the future of your light in case of defects). the tasty led's look appealing as does the pacific stuff but waiting til i can rule out amare.
btw it'll be a 4x4 tent only 5'3" high now, forget what i said before xD
I m kinda like that too, would rather pay more and it being plug and play. But cobs are so expensive that it's kinda worth it. I did the proper aluminum heatsink bars a while back and it was too much work for my liking. However, have u seen my latest simple fixture using and old basket from a freezer? Not for everyone I understand it looks quite lame but I don't care! Timber kits are almost a plug and play if u don't mind that kind of a setup. If I had more money I would have purchased from PLC.it would no doubt be rewarding to learn and figure it out, but i'm whatever personality type that would rather pay a little more to have it done for me already (without keeping myself up at night that i screwed something up and my house will burn down). it's cool you were able to do it yourself tho.
thanks man. ended up going with 4x4 tent and amare solar eclipse 450 but after ordering found out it's on back order worried about amare, the site I ordered from said they expect them to be back in on the 15th, but with what I've been hearing im starting to wonder if I'll ever see it at all xDTaller tent would be better, but if your growing indica dominant plants you'll be fine. Just shooting you some ideas from myexperience with this stuff
