First Autos! So many choices!

Hey all! Saint Skinny back in black with a tiny lil sack... anyway I went to pick up a 600w apollo LED and a 400w dimmable ballast (also apollo) from a guy on Craigslist... when I got there I saw a shit ton of boxes in a van... I thought one might be for me... they were all for me! so for $100 I got a 600w LED, a 400w digi ballast, a 135w UFO LED, an econowing reflector, a big ass bag of perlite, some fabric pots, a digi timer, some rope ratchets, a couple Jewelers Loupe, bamboo stakes and my favorite... a little yellow envelop filled with GENETICS!

Advanced Seeds Auto Biodiesel Mass
Advanced Seeds Kaya 47 (and AK auto)
Heavyweight Seeds fast and vast auto
Spanish Seeds Auto Blueberry

and feminized (photoperiod)
World of Seeds Strawberry Blue
World of Seeds Northern Lights x Big Bud
Paradise Seeds Delahaze
Paradise Seeds Nebula
and some regular afghani seeds

I mentioned being tight on cash during the emails, he said he thought about it and since this was all just sitting there in the closet, it should go to someone who will use it. Things are starting to look up!

Heres my issue, Amigos. I've grown photoperiod strains from clone and seed, in soil and hydro... no major issues I didn't understand or couldn't handle. But this is my first auto run and its a bit intimidating. I have all this new tech (LEDs and Autos) and want to use it to its full advantages... heres what I'm considering doing.
-auto biodiesel mass
- FFOF in 3 gal spring pots
- LST
- Lighting..Heres where I need help, I have a few options available to me and IDK which would be best for autos. I have a:
-1000w MH (10,000 deg kelvin/enhanced blue) in an 8" Raptor Hood (hardcore mag ballast)
-a 400 ballast (ill buy whatever bulb I need) suitable for hps or MH
-an 8 bulb 4' T5HO
- a 600w LED
- a 135w led
the 1000 watter is being used for 4 plants in 5 gal buckets and one in a 5 gal root pouch, so I could just add the auto pots under that light, but I've heard LED's are perfect for running auto's full term.

also, any auto feeding tips or just auto growing tips in general?

Don't feed em til they need it, around week 5-6. Seems to be the only issue I see with autos...

Start out with dilluted nutes and work up to what they can handle.

I dont recommend trimming them but LST seems to perform well so you shouldn't have any worries.

Wow. Nice score bro. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

What light is best actually depends on how many plants you wish to do at once. And what kind of space you've got.

Hps-mh is best for coverage and light penetration. But, outputs lots of heat.
Where as the little ufo would be better for a 1-2 plant micro cab. Or as a supplemental light. Also- Led is highly efficient. And produces very little heat.

I never even considered doing an actual journal, But now.... Im considering doing an actual journal lol sure, why not! I popped a few Biodiesel Mass, an auto Blueberry, and a couple others, into some Rapid Rooters on thursday, hopefully Ill see something in the next day or two! I also put a Fast and Vast auto right into FFOF to see how it does... I wanna try DWC but would like to do it more naturally than last time. I used Supernatural brand, which worked well, but I'd like to go more organic/natural

That's awesome u got all that stuff bro I always find deals on stuff like that on Craigslist or pennswoods.net I met a guy who sent me bunch of nutes,seeds for free also I met hi. At his place swap out seeds and I got lights off him cheap a new in box marshydro LED for like $100 worth of bud also got a 400w hps with aircooled hood a tent and a 600 led also so yea CL is the shit

Depending how many you want to run at a time I would pick a bulb up for that 400w digi. I would run that in a 3x3 .The 600w LED might be good for 4x4? The 1000 MH is going to cause you a lot of heat, Good CFM intake/exhaust needed. You growing in a tent? cab? Or more of an open space type room

Im in a open type setup, like if a lean to shed and a greenhouse had a love-child after a weekend at circa 1970 Woodstock. That would be my setup lol right now im running a 4' 8 bulb T8, the 600w apollo led, a 1000w mh, and a 4' 8 bulb T5HO. I only have clones under the T8 and plan on putting the UFO over a single DWC bucket with either fast & vast or Biodiesel Mass
