Introducing CobKits.com - specializing in DIY and Citizen COBs

ill try to take some measurements in a 3x3 tent. i think it would give good coverage at 24"

for your 6 sq ft tent 2x1825 light engines at 110W each (2100 ma) would be great- like with an hlg240h-c2100b

@CobKits
first, thank you for your help and support from pm
second, have you ever considered to sell also 3w led for enhancing spectrum( deep red/far red,royal blue)?

will depend as always what current you plan to run them at, but yes 1 inch bar should do it, ideally something like extruded finned rail would be best but depends what will be most cost effective
Cheers

well im gonna run them on the softer side. is there a place on the pcb for temp measurement, or what do you normally do with single diodes?

I use a FLIR thermal imager but there are fiducial marks on the board so you could solder a thermocouple to one of these, what do you usually use for temp measure?

I usually just go by manufacturers data or estimate temp by back calculating voltage/lumen droop

any recs on good decent type J or K thermocouples to solder to boards?
