How am I doing?

Hello everyone.
Brand new here, just looking for a little input. This is my first grow, I put these ladies in the ground on May 27th. I have 2 cherry pies, and one that I was told was called SLA. From my best estimate the cherry pie started flowering around August 11-18th. I noticed the first hairy clusters on the 18th.

I noticed yellowing that started within the first couple weeks of flowering. It progressed pretty quickly from the oldest leaves up. I took the leaves into my local grow store and they said they need nitrogen bad. I flushed for a few days and then tried refeeding with the the Alaskan fish fertilizer that I used all through veg. I never gained control of the yellowing so I just said screw it and went back to using the terra bloom I had switched to for bloom.
The canopy has thinned out a lot and I've lost nearly all of my fan leaves except for the ones on the colas. They're yellowing up pretty quickly too. The buds look incredibly healthy in my opinion, and from what I've read yellowing is normal in late stages. I'm calculating that they'll finish up somewhere in the next couple weeks. I'll be at about 63 days flowering come the 13th.
The weather here is pretty rainy, and looks like it won't be clearing up any time soon. It's not getting much colder than 45° at the moment. Will that greatly slow down the ripening? The hairs are about 50/50 white and orange, the calyx trichs are cloudy but the sugarleaf trichs are mostly amber.

Over all, from the pic and the little info I've given do these ladies look decent? 20161004_155038.jpg

Good to know :-) I've put way more time and effort into this than I expected it to be. And I have Google search, and YouTube to thank. Thanks for the props, it makes me happy :-)

With anything worthwhile it usually ends up that way. Just know that you are mere weeks away from top notch smoke-able reward. Like many before me have mentioned, great job on your first grow and may there be plenty more to follow.

Yeah, I switched to the bud blast a couple weeks ago. Gave them two feedings and called it good. Just going to flush until the end.
I am with everyone else here! ^5 on the first time grow and making through the bugs and mold threats to harvest!

I also used Supernatural Grow Terra, Bloom Terra and Superlicious then Bud Blaster and Super boost the last two weeks. I didn't flush and I don't believe there is anyone reason to flush.

I got 9 oz's off my Indica "The Black" just harvested trimmed last Thursday dried in 6 days now curing in jars!

Have fun with that harvest you have some yield there and it will be time consuming~

Cheers

After reading a bunch today about the dos and don'ts of flushing, the proper ways, and when it's necessary for each medium I realized I just need to do my normal watering cycle. Only been watering every 3-5 days at this point. Another 1 to go then I'll probably call it good. Next Saturday is my hopeful date for harvest on two of them.

I did notice a small patch of off colored bud today. Looked a tad brown, and had a wilted appearance. Not sure if it was bud rot or not, but I pulled the patch of it out and carefully removed the area around it so not to drop more spores just in case. This is what the area around it was left looking like after I removed the suspect spot. Any cause for concern?

Sounds like rot! Brown, mushy, wilted, the sugar leaves brown and shriveled not dry but soggy and will just fall out with tug! The browned area in the bud will also just fall out with a slight tug!

Take the rot out but also just cut that branch, clean all the bad bits, then trim it and hang it! Let the rest of the plant finish!

Cheers

Yep, sounds about right. I know what I'm doing right after work tomorrow. Thanks for the info :-)

This was the bud in question. Didn't find anything else to be worried about. I took about 3 inches off the top and drying in a spot away from where the others will be in time. This was a smaller bud that was half buried in the plant. I can't wait to see the big ones all trimmed up.
