HI folks,

I've been growing indoors for about 3-4 months with a lot of trial and error. I currently have 2 decent lights currently on 12 hours per day, as some (out of 5) plants started to show their sex.

Well now I have 2 large plants with one obvious female, finally! ! I have @ least one almost obvious male, and nada on the other 2.

My question is when to actually split them up? Can I wait until my really short plant "sprout" catches up?

And flowering is approx 1 month?

Remove the male asap unless you want seeds.. put something under the short plant to raise it closer to the light... flowering takes from 7 to 12weeks...

Toss the male, put the sprout under a t5 with 24/0 lighting, flower the female under 12/12

Thank you, I'm on it. My parents leave in a couple days, and I will isolate the little guy, and maybe toy with a foiled boxy thing, and a couple new lights.

Lol....I've never seen someone happy about the longer flowering time. it usually never happens fast enough for me..

Well it's not the party pooper, that's for sure. A t5 is a type of florescent lighting. Very efficient lighting for growers. I veg my cuttings and seedlings under them before they've stretched enough for the big lights.

Yeah, I definitely need to re-work some things next time around. I'll poll get more seeds going about 2/3rds into my harvest. It could be a Very-Merry X-mas!

T5 is a fluorescent light and the T5 denominator is actually the size of the bulb.

I use this one for seedlings and veg...you can also use em for flower too!

Nice! That will Def be my next step, as I move up the chain/have a more permanent spot. I'll have a bad-ass basement some day!
