2016 for me here is a time of acceptance for everyone i dont give a flying fuck who you are, who you fuck, what gender clothes you wear or what gender you claim for your self

from where i sit here looking at this thread i feel like ive gone back several years where theres you and pinworm sniggering about using homopobic insults against me as if its something i should bother with the time of day

But is that not up to Arizona? Seriously, no nuclear in Cali. I can dig that. The reality is paying PG&E for their ridiculously high rates is voluntary. You're here, I'm here. We can vote to keep nuclear out while still paying to import coal electricity. Vote to make people smog their cars while there isn't a smog device to be found in any of the ports on the freighters that burn pure sludge. The reality of this is the economics of it and forcing policy for the perceived greater good.

Let me iterate my respect for your position and putting your money where your mouth is. The problem is putting others money where your mouth is. Residential Nuclear is around 10 cents per Kwh and should be lower as tech gets better. No progressive tiers or anything and industrial rates are way lower. That's better for 99% of everyone.

Besides that, there is the human element. If you're cool with splatting Arizona with solar panels then I'm cool with helping Africa utilize their carbon energy so they can have things like insulin, lights, clean water and a better standard of living.
