Seeds are bagseed like the title says, they are from Florida.
**Indoor grow**
Light is a led Mars 300
Small fan
Nutrients =
Fox farm grow big
General hydro flora bloom.
AVN Bud candy for the bonus lol.
That's what we are working with.
Realistic Goals are @1 ounce per plant.
Gratefully hoping for 2.5/3 oz per plant.
Seeds were in rock wool on October 3rd.
Roots are popping out.
Just added water. It's really bad city water. But it's temporary until better city water can be added.
Ph is around 7 of course.
Ppm is around 500.

You could at 1/4 to see if they handle it like that you will not burn them but will all seed in the same bucket?? If not you can already put them in their bucket and raise the water level àt 2cm under the rockwool ,I find it promote more latéral roots in my expérience

Appreciate the guidance, anyhow, basically we have one air pump and 3 buckets and 2 net pots. Due to low budget currently we will only be keeping the best looking plant or possibly 2 plants at the end of week 1 in Dwc we plan to move the others to soil if possible or some how clutch another airpump by a miracle.
Still waiting on roots I think we added to much clay pelletes and roots are taking forever to get to the bottom of the net pod and the water level Is a inch above the bottom of the net pot BTW, do I need to move it down or?
Temps are staying at a good 70-77 averaging at 75
Water temp was last checked at 69 or 70 degrees.
Ppm last checked at 450 added a little better water..
Ph is at 7 still. Looking into lemons/lemon juice. And vinegar supposedly works??
I personally check on it everyday sometimes every other day but have someone whos always watching and can command.

You want to get that pH down as soon as you can. Both lemon juice and vinegar are weak organic acids and not very good dropping your pH but if that's all you got I'd go with the vinegar. I'd start with a tsp and give it at least an hour before testing and then add more bit by bit until you get it down to at least 6. Don't get impatient and toss in a lot at once if it doesn't seem to work very good. Maybe 2 tsp at a time if the first couple of doses of 1 doesn't do much if anything. Easy to overshoot and end up down to 5 or so then you'll be hunting down some baking soda and that's not great to use either.

I gather you are hand watering a little until the roots finally start coming out of the pots? An inch below is just right and the popping bubbles will keep everything nice and wet at the bottom of the pots. Depending on how high up they are in the pot it could take up to a week or maybe a bit more but once they get there they'll start growing fast.

I like to get my clones tall enough that I can set the root plug right on the bottom of the pot and bury it with hydroton balls. 2 days and roots are hanging out all over the bottom of the pots.



You say your ppm is 450. What was the starting ppm of you water? You need to subtract that from the total to give you your actual nutrient ppm. Should be around 300 actual nutrients for starting with.

Bud Candy is more of a carbohydrate/sugar treat that feeds the microherd. Great for soil but can cause problems in hydro. Foaming and other bad things can happen. I just use Big Bud and it's been working great the last 15 years. You can get a small container of it for around 15 - $20 or so I believe. I just bought a 500g can of it for $85 but that will last me at least a couple years.

450 ppm is city water only. I have not added any nutes and the water level almost to where the bottom of the rockwool was but not to where it was soaking the rockwool.
The water level is at a inch above bottom of of the net pod.i could see it bubbling in the hydroton. I have vinegar on the way right now also have lemon juice as a back up.
I think I need to invest in 4 gallons of water from the store. I guess add Epson salt and pray fox farm has enough mag in it to feed it without deficiencys until one day I can get cal mag.

At 450 for your city water I can guarantee you that you won't need extra CalMag. Water that hard will have way more than enough. Enough to probably interfere with many of your other nutes.

You have to get some nutes in there PDQ so I would at least get some RO water from the store, take out half at least of the water in the bucket and fill up with RO. Still won't need CalMag if the starting ppm is 200+.

Fox Farm should have enough Ca and Mg to work good with straight RO water but you would need to add some calmag after a week or so if you don't do a nute change weekly which you shouldn't when the plants are still small and eating very little. Prolly won't need calmag until you flip to flowering. I don't use FF so not sure what all it has in it. I'm using AN 3 - part and have used only it for years without adding anything but epsom salts and not a lot of that. Got Calmag a few years back but ran out so should get some more soon but don't really need any for a while.

I thought the water level was an inch under the pot and that's where it should be so once you see roots lower it to that. Even tho it may not be touching the rockwool you can bet it's still soaking it.

Your best bet is to use straight RO water but if you can't do that then half and half with RO is better than nothing and will be better for your growing. Once the plants are established keep track of how much water you use to top up and once you've used the same amount as the bucket holds you should do a nute change as you will have doubled the amount of ppm you started with and the problems will start.

You should also contact you city to get a copy of their water analysis. Should be free and they can likely email it to you. Post it up here or copy/paste it in a PM to me and I'll let you know what's in there for ya and what to watch out for.

Awesome I'll lower the water level, and invest in some clean water do a half and half like you said. hopefully after I adjust a few things I'll be on the right track.

10/15 temps are holding @ 77 59% humidity.

Dont use lemon/lime juice or vinegar.

Lemon juice you end up with algee.
Lime juice does the same.
Vinegar you end up growing a skin ontop of the water which is what produces more vinegar like growing yeast.

Being bad seed you really should of sex;ed the plants first.
What I do is go from seed on 12/12 in party cups with 100% perlite.
Then in about 2.5-3.5 weeks you will be able to tell if its male or female.

Switch to 24 hour light and switch the females over to DWC buckets, Loosely shake the excess perlite out. Then pot it into the root pot using perlite and clay stones, or what ever method you use.
You want the water level so its just splashing on the bottom of the root pot.
After few days the roots would of dropped down into the water.

Youll see some odd growth for the first 2 weeks on 24 hour light and the revert back to veg. Then switch to 18 hours light and veg until half the size you want.
Be sure to take clones of each plant before switching to flower again.
Label them so what ever one comes out best you can make the mother plant.

ROOTS CAME OUT OF NET POT.
I think all plants made there way out.
Lowered the water level below the pot about a inch.
Hand feed clean drinking water until they find there water again
Haven't seen the babies in a few days but they've been alright
Temp was at 81, the highest yet. But it was a hot day today.
60%humid
Noticing on a couple of them they're getting some yellow in the middle of the leafs. I should've took better pics.

I think it's getting close to time to adding nutrients, just waiting for the roots to drop a little bit farther down.

Anyone wanna guess whether they're indicas/sativa/hybrids?

I wanna say 1-2 of the plants are from good dro and others are are mids.

A note with the ebay PH meter is they dont come calibrated so youll need some calibrating fluid.
My one was reading my tap water at 8.9 PH.
Calibrated it with some PH6 fluid and then my tape water read at 7.5PH

Most nutrient lines that are mixed at or near "full strength " actually end up being pretty close to an "adequate" pH...until you add some silica or such

I got the ppm/ph meter kit from eBay and it came with the calibration solution I calibrated it, It works properly just ran the batteries down like a noob. Lol
If I'm correct doesn't nutes bring the ph down??

Base nutrients yes. But say for instance you use silica blast or some other silica additive it will raise it.
