Hope those pics are what you need to know. I was wondering, if I was later to upgrade to a larger pump, if I was to make a water chiller from a fridge, could I keep that pump in the fridge as well?
Worms in dwc?

Not sure about the pump working like that. When folks make chillers from old mini fridges, they use liquid pumps and build coils to pump the res fluid thru to chill it as it circulates back to the res. Dont think it will have the same effect with air pump though I could be wrong?

I just meant to throw the air pump in there cause you said about the bigger ones blowing hot air. Thought if the pump was in the fridge that might help. I read and watched a bunch of diy stuff on how to make a chiller. I'm looking for the cheapest quickest way for the time being though

Cheapest DIY chiller will be a used mini fridge with a stainless steel coil of about 15' inside the fridge. There is a pump in the res that pumps the res solution out of the res, through the coil in the fridge, then returns back to the res cooled. Set the temp on the fridge to help dial in the temp you are tryin to achieve. Maybe put the pump on a timer if it gets the res too cold. You could likely build the whole thing for under $100. Not bad considering the average chiller is about $250+.
