How many plants for 12/12 from seed?

Hello everyone. I am just looking for your opinions on this topic.
I have a 2x2x5 tent. I have seen 12/12 from seed grows on her and other places.
I would like to try that, I was wanting to know how many plants would be good in my size tent?
What size pots? I have a few choices of female seeds.
I would like your opinion on what would be a good fit without overkill..

Depends on how much light you plan on using but for that much probably 1-2 depdnjg on the pot size. But I agree with bseeds maybe an auto would be better for that.

Hi How are you, You can do 4 plants in that space no problem, if you do a vertical grow you save space and get more bud, if you scrog them, I would go 2 plants and fill the screen as tight as you can. Get side lights on them if you don't get the full spread of light. Use a mirror right in front of the door to reflect as much light back as you can. Make sure your venting 3 times the air your blowing around to make sure heat build up isnt a problem. We can get you through the rest easy peasy. MD

Just trying to get some bud?
I would go with 6 plants in 2 gallon pots because 12/12 from seed plants dont really get too big and ime usually just make 1 cola of bud and a little popcorn so i say as many as you can fit really.

Hello yes this is just a hobby grow for friends and family. I was thinking of using maybe 1 gallon pots. Maybe like a sog grow.

so what would you suggest? I have grown before and just looking to try something new. Thats why the thought of 12/12 from seed or a small sog grow.

Right well lets put those together then, I can talk you through building a small scrog rig to fit inside your area. 4 plants, top them each for 2 tops each and weave them through the rig back and forth till stretching is done. I started in 12/12 back when and they veg grow for at least a month before flowering, if you keep up on training like every other day during the veg and initial stretch of flower you could max out your bud sites. I have a mars hydro 300w but its just 140 true watts. I have a 150w Hps light also. Would one of those work for that size tent or would I need a bigger light?

Dealers choice on lighting, the mars would provide the best no heat solution from what the guys over in the LED section are saying, you will want to poke around over there to see if it would be enough light for the space. I grow in a 4x4x7 space with bare bulb vertical 600 watt ushio opti- If you went with the 150 Hps you would want to set it up for a day and get an idea of how your temps will be without plants in it. You may just decide the mars hydro is for you due to heat issues. When I did cabinet stealth grows they were 2x3x5 and I had a four cfl fixture and it gave off heat that had to be constantly vented through a carbon filter and then out into the room. So poke around for info on the mars i think it may be the ticket for this grow. MD

Spacing I would go four corners and weave it through 1 single scrog net/ropes, they will always grow to the light, when they do tuck them and move on lol. MD

just remember if your gunna do a SOG to keep your tent tidy and stay disciplined. its real easy to get sloppy and with so many pots, lazy then u miss stuff like bugs or hermis and the whole crop can go to shit real quick in such a tight space.
