That's doc d. He's a real cool down to earth dude. He runs a lot of exotic sativas and had some crazy crosses. Him and bodhi did some work together if I'm not mistaken. My wife has a couple of his crosses... Cuban black haze x thai/a5, head banger x viet black, bandaid haze x head banger

Thanks a lot. I think I got the pack because of all the bodhi's I've been running. Really great stuff they got. That's why I'm so excited about the goji, heard some great things about it.

I bought some Strayfox seeds from GLG who had a promotion with a "Purple Punch" freebie included. It turns out the seeds were from Doc D and are Purple Punch x Afkansastan/X18 . Apparently the male is from Bodhi. Any info or experience with these? They sound interesting.

originally this project was to try and lock down mr danks superb 80's afghani in seed form, by creating some f2 kids to breed back into the mom, but the pure f1 hybrid had such amazing traits in structure, vigor, yeild, and overall beauty that the path turned into the goal and i dont think we need to go any farther.
on the parents: tom hills x18 pakistani was very similar in kush like structure, tree fruit and musk aroma, and unique awake indica high and seemed like a perfect match to the 80's era clone only from kansas via afghanistan. this hybrid has a fantastic open structure with big sticky indica buds that smell and taste of pear, persimmon, yudzu, honeycomb, and musky wildflowers, and a dreaming awake high that soothes the weary body and mind. a cautionary notes: this hybrid has only been tested outside, and areas with high mold pressure may not be favorable for this line....

I haven't been able to come up with any viable grow info on either the Purple Punch or the Purple Punch x AfPak. I'm still looking for info/breadcrumbs because I have a freebie pack of them too. I don't think they've been out for long as freebies either (given out in 2019).

So I was given a little more info on the purple punch x afpak and more info on the AfPak crosses as a whole. I straight to the source for this information and Doc was gracious enough to respond.
The Purple Punch cut used by Doc in this cross did, in fact, come to him from Stray. According to Doc, the “purple punch was a nice plant... vigorous, frosty, turned purple, great grape kool aid flavor and aroma.”
More information about the AfPak crosses from Doc:
“I will say that almost all of the afpak progeny spilt very evenly, 50/60% will show very short and compact afpak grow with the other 40-50% leaning towards the given mothers traits.
If you want more mom Dom then select for the larger plants... if you wanna explore the afpak side with a twist select the for the stout plants.“
