They do a good job of bringing out the fall colors.hey BK it seems to me the LECs bring out the colors more. you seeing that?
Ok sure it's been ask, but lazy. Lol. This a 4x4? Awesome grow.View attachment 3660813 View attachment 3660814 I went from 1000 watts hps to 600w hps, sold those, bought 2, 315s, 110 volt... just finished my first grow with the 315s.. Here's two waterfarms a couple days before harvest, first first is Nirvana Blackberry, second is Blue Mystic..... Good example how different strains stretch in flower.. The 315 watt did a good job of reaching the lower buds on the BM...
This makes me wonder if I over spent with my COB's...... wow nice flowers!Sherbet - Under a SunSystem 315 LEC

I haven't seen anyone in a 2x4' but I have an extra LEC after I got those Tasty COBs and I'm going to try it. It's only 5ft high but it's a veg tent so plants never get beyond 2ft. high. Tight but I want to try it. Not concerned about the heat, just managing the overhead in a 5ft.H tent. They'll cover that space fine for veg. Ideally you'd have a 7ft to run them up high and get great coverage. My one girl that has been flowering under the SS 315 CMH is loving life guys, have zero complaints on this light thus far.
Question has anyone ran one in a 2x4 tent? I am considering a second one for veg but don't want to just ditch a good tent for no reason already have the 2x4 on hand........
Perfect brother please let me know my 2x4 is a veg tent as well, and I'd rather not discard a perfectly good tent to only spend $$ on another 3x3 if it's not needed. The layout of the 2x4 that I have at least has a lot of space it's actually bigger than 2x4 by a bit..... I don't mind the T5's but they run hotter than the 315 and use more power so...... still testing with them but the 315 in flower is on auto pilot while I am having to constantly check in on the veg tent and the heat I believe is causing my leaves to curl a bit and have a funky texture on my seedlings......I haven't seen anyone in a 2x4' but I have an extra LEC after I got those Tasty COBs and I'm going to try it. Will let you know, see if I can get at it this weekend. Can you not just take out a tube to manage the heat issue or would it not be enough lighting. Maybe too much for the space, can't remember the fixture you have in there.Perfect brother please let me know my 2x4 is a veg tent as well, and I'd rather not discard a perfectly good tent to only spend $$ on another 3x3 if it's not needed. Pop out a tube or two to reduce the heat, I'd kill the 3k'sI'm running this T5:

Ok, it's about lights out for tonight I will try that tomorrow..........Pop out a tube or two to reduce the heat, I'd kill the 3k's
hey groerr, sorry ive been out for awile,, what tasty cob did you get, and how is it in comparison to the 315 watt ceramics?I haven't seen anyone in a 2x4' but I have an extra LEC after I got those Tasty COBs and I'm going to try it. Hey glad to see you back and growing! After a couple of runs with those COBs I've been impressed with both yield and quality, watt-for-watt with some limited runs I'm seeing about a 10-15% bump in yield. The most impressive factor for me though has been quality and loudness of terps from existing clones I've been running for quite a while, very impressive.hey groerr, sorry ive been out for awile,, what tasty cob did you get, and how is it in comparison to the 315 watt ceramics?
Hello i am pretty new here just trying to set up my first grow and just have a quick question for you if you don't mind. I've watched a video on YouTube where someone grew under identical conditions with a LED (not cree cob's) a gavita and and a 315w cmh and the thc levels were tested at 18.9, 18.5, and 22.5 respectively. I was wondering if you have noticed any loss of thc under your cob led compared to the cmh? I think it has to do with the UV produced by the cmh. I am trying to set up a small grow for my own medical needs so I don't need need a huge yield, I'd prefer quality over quantity which light would you recommend for me?Hey glad to see you back and growing!
