I am the Green Poison guy.....lol! I was a tester for the Green Poison fast version too for Sweet Seeds but they were very unhappy with my final review which basically stated what I said above. No one talks to me from the co. anymore. Lol

G.P. Was wayyyyy better maybe 5 years ago, a great strain. Then after my numerous grows and reviews, the strain got popular again and all the seeds sold out so on the next seed crops from Sweet Seeds, they missed the mark and the potency declined. I just did my last G.P. Grow a few crops back- my last for sure. Ok but not special anymore.
Are you for real? No one from sweet seeds will speak to you now? That's a friggen joke. You give them real feedback and they can't take it. Screw them bro, they don't deserve your quality report!

Tommy G. Was my contact, he hasn't responded back to me since I posted my review. I also run into him on other similar sites and he ignores me. So be it!

I was overall pretty impressed with the Sweet Afghani Delicious Fast Version. Finished early Sept outside here, yielded about a lb and a half as advertised. Was pretty nice smoke. Smelled like bubblegum sorta. Yielded around 15-18% rosin in a press - 1 plant from seed. Some hunting probably you could find something quite nice in this line.

This review gives me some hope for their other fast versions.

I also ran some autos from them and I came away pleasantly surprised. The black jack especially was good.

Thanks for the effort SSHZ in this. Looks good.

Bloody hell, that's pathetic. So he only wants reviews if they contain what he wants....lol!

I'm about to end growing all the European strains I've been doing the last bunch of years....they are all so similar- Amsterdam, Spain, U.K., etc........tired genetics, everything is good but not outstanding anymore. I'll be growing American stuff for a while, I really think most of it is better these days.No more Attitude, Herbies, etc.

It's also easier and faster to get seeds now.......which are fresher too thru the American seed vendors.

Weighing everything tomorrow, and I'll report final numbers, smoke report, some pic's, etc. tomorrow evening.

I agree mate, a lot of the Euro strains seem watered down these days compared to good US strains. I'm loving the og's and other kushes at the moment!
Looking forward to seeing the yields man!!

2nd time I'm typing this out......just finished it earlier and hit the wrong button and everything disappeared..........

This was a pretty ease grow, with around 26-27 days veg and exactly 63 days in flowering. 4 plants had the beginning of a mite issue and rather than deal with them spreading, I destroyed those plants. The one plant that was WAYYYYYYY behind- I'm guessing around 25 days or so- was VERY Hazy, the biggest yielder in the room and a great smell but I had to destroy that one too- the wife put her foot down when I said I was going to move it outside and I didn't really want to start up another room again. Sad but necessary. SUPER Hazey, I regretted killing her as soon as I did it.

So, first off, great bag appeal throughout- thoroughly encrusted in resin, spicey/minty/evergreen smell and a deep kushy taste when smoked. Not much fluff, mostly dense buds with a greasy resin feel. Final weight was exactly 50 oz from the 20 plants, a solid 2.5 oz per plant on average. Very good for my style of grow.

Very sativa smoke, I'd rate it a 9/10 potency wise if smoked in the morning or afternoon or an 8/10 if smoked during the evening. Not much body to it, buzz is all in the head, eyes, temples, etc. People will love it no doubt, me though..........just another European "water-downed" strain from tired genetics.

I'm positive that by Sweet Seeds introducing the Rudelalis (sp) into the genetics, it diluted the potency but helped the finishing speed- a bad choice IMO. Same thing with the Green Poison, the regular feminized version is better. Don't grow Sweet Seeds "Fast Versions", they're not worth it.

I will be posting some bud pic's later this evening.........

Regarding the next crop, Kurple Fantasy- only 12 of the 24 popped. The seed reseller offered to send another pack along but I declined and have started some other strains to fill the rest of the room. So I just started 5 Aztec Rain's and 5 Purple Storms from Esokbar, 2 Chocolate Cheese freebies from Sannie's Shop and 4 DJ's Gold (DJ Short Blueberry X Jew Gold Cut) from DNA. Hopefully some of these will pop so I can use them to..........

More later.....

Yup, real happy about that. Still sitting on some Lemon OG too but need to add some indica's to the stash- just plain old tired of these sativa's, especially at night time!
I hear ya man, nice to have a mix of both!!
Looking forward to the pics mate!

Disappointed to report only 12/24 Kurple Fantasy popped.......... my guess these are old, tired seeds. So I hastily started a bunch of other things, i.e. Sugar Punch by Sannie, Chocolate Cheese, Aztec Rain, Purple Storm by Eskobar (my favorite breeder) and Jewels Gold by DNA. I'll grow a couple of each of these. Since I was planning on growing 24 different strains next crop, this will satisfy my desire for some variety and probably go back to a kush next time now...

Some pic's up shortly......

That sucks about the Kurple Fantasy mate, sucks when you get old seeds!
Those other strains sound good though, will be cool to watch your feeding regimen for the different needs of the strains!!

I'll do a mild feeding rate, probably not going above 1000 ppm.....I'm more concerned about the different height and stretches of the different strains. Not much I could do about, at least they all get done in 8.5-9.5 weeks.

Last post in thread, as I'm about to open a new thread for the room. I'm working on some pictures as I type. After over a month smoking the Jack 47, my opinion hasn't changed much. Much more enjoyable in the morning and afternoon, but too weak for a nighttime smoke. People love it, and a few are reporting serious cases of the munchies. Numerous people have visited for seconds. Pic's coming soon....

While half of the Kurple Fantasy did not sprout, I was forced to start a bunch of things and see what took on short notice. The Chocolate Cheese freebies from Eskobar are the nicest so far out of the remaining new plants in the room:

1. Chocolate Cheese (2)
2. Aztec Rain (3)
3. Purple Storm (3)
4. Sugar Punch (healthy, but a runt) (1)
5. Jewel's Gold (also doing very nicely) (3)

Pic's coing up, see you guys on the next thread Thanks everyone!
