i use a 400 on 1x1x2m tent 3 plants they do just great fella last grow did 600w 4 plants and that turned out well too i think ull do great with 2 or 4 under that 600 id probs do 4 and veg a bit less if rules are strict in your area. ull get the same yield if not a bit more than what u expected out the 2 plants i also wouldnt start my seeds under hps seams like a waste and probs to intense anyway id grab a cfl or something hope this helps good luck and happy growing
