Best bang for buck tent?

I'm looking to buy a grow tent but trying to avoid spending too much money. Is there any good quality tents at a reasonable price out there? Can anyone recommend one?

you want one with non toxic plastic and the good type or white or silver mylar coating

also depending on how much weight you plan to hang on it means you need to look at its load taking ability

also some just have one door and 2 vent holes some people need more

I normally just measure the space and then shop around for the best deal

I mean a 1.2m x 1.2m tent is like £100 to whatever but you can find good ones for £10 to £40 online

then with bigger sizes the price go`s up but I`ve paid £40 to £100 for a 2.4m x 2.4m or even way bigger

just depends what people have, shop around and don`t be afraid to post up the tent asking what people think once you narrow it down a bit


What kinda size were you looking at ?

ezi tent by adelaide hydro full maylar tents like gorilla grow tents but half the price 89$ i paid for a 1.2x1.2 tent

they also have fire retardent injected into the maylar so if u do have a fire it goes out and i have tested buring the shit as well

www.GrowAce.com They have some cheap tents and good quality.
Personally I prefer the tents with metal poles and reinforced Food grade Plastic edges. I find the metal ones can bend.
What size tent are we talking? How many plants/ Type of lighting?
Is this your first grow? Medical or Other?
USA,UK or Canada?

Most people would say Lighthouse or GrowAce and while those are good choices, I think that Apollo makes the best bang for the buck grow tents. If you compare them to Gorilla, they're about 1/3 to 1/4th the price, and you get a lot of the 'essentials' that you need in a grow tent:
  • Decent fabric ( I believe Apollo is 400D, which is "enough" for a bang for the buck tent )
  • Steel interlocking frame with metal corners
  • Solid zips
Your other option is to just get the Gorilla LITE line, which is 190D but fused in a way that makes it a bit stronger than the denier would suggest. Those would be my picks!

(I grow in a 2x4 Gorilla standard right now, FYI)

My Apollo I just fine. But! My lighthouse is total garbage. Zipper buster day 1. Pin holes everywhere. Glowing zippers. Missing parts and according to "Oasis" the online merchant I bought it from, they offer NO warranty. So you are literally fucked. But for my troubles the offered me 20% off on another one. Pretty sweet right?

Unfortunately I haven't heard good things about the Lighthouse tents either :x
