Can you veg too long?

So I made a mistake. I got some amnesia haze and some blueberry auto. I sprouted some and put them in my dwc. Out of 9 only 3 sprouted. I contacted the company and like a month later I got replacements. So I started on those and threw them in the same tub. The tub only holds 5 I got 2 a.h. 1 B.a. that was started at the same time. And 2 B.a. that was started a month later. Now my question is, can I veg those a.h. too long and it'll not grow buds right when I flower? I wanted to grow the b.a. fully first. And what should I keep the nutes like? I been following a schedule I got offline. I'm using general hydroponics flora series. 18 gallon tote 3 airstones and some cfl's. The a.h. are 9 1/2" where as the younger b.a. are 4" the older one just showed flowers today

.... fuck. Sorry man. Must've missed the word Auto. Auto's don't have a particular light cycle. They grow best when given about 18 hours of light a day. And will basically keep doing what they're doing. Regardless of the light provided. As they don't respond to 12 12 switching like photoperiod plants do.

That is. You can't force an auto to flower. Because they run on an internal clock. Rather than by the duration of day and night.

I just got auto's and photoperiod in the same tub. Was wondering if it'll fuck up the photoperiod ones. I think those are ready to switch to 12/12

Back in the day there was a pic. on the internet. May have been on this site. A Puerto Rican family had a plant in their front yard with a street light nearby. By any def. it was a tree. Trunk 7 or 8" diameter, at least 10' tall, pic chopped top. My guess, 14 to16' tall. Must have been several years old.

You can have autos with your photoperiod plants. But, unless you have a dedicated area for those autos. They'll probably yield less just because your photos need to be switched to that 12-12 lighting schedule.

If they're getting 18 hours of light before the switch. They lose a whole 6 hours every day till they're done. Which will impact what you get from the autos.

Wow, I'm gonna have to look for that. I have 3 more auto's but they're all in separate buckets so that'll be easy to move. Maybe ill just sacrifice the 2 young auto's.

Thus why I grow regular seeds only. No feminized, no auto's. Think of autos like grenades once you pull the pin no matter what they are gonna do their thing. Where as I have my mommas sitting under 24 hr light basically for 8 to 12 months now

Yeah, once I actually sat and thought it through I already had purchased and sprouted them. So I think next grow I'm just going to pick one kind and just go for that

One of my amnesia's topped itself. And one of the blueberry's sprouted with 3 leaves. I feel this should be a lucky grow

I only run one genetic line per room. Like now one has my pink 2.0 there other is running c99 I got from brothers grimm, then when the one is done they move rooms and another starts lol I'm trying to figure out what I'm running next I have a post in the general grow section if you like to give some input.

only time you veg (too long) is if you run out of room to accommodate for flower stretch or are using weak lighting like cfls that wont penetrate past the top 6 inches of the plant very well
Ok, well was able to switch some things around. Got some more extension cords and bought my wifes closet from her. So I moved the moveable auto's into its own closet. I am using cfl's. They are about 10" long now. Except for the split one. She's growing out and sideways and up kinda. Probably same height just growing different. Would you suggest switching them over now? Or wait a little longer?
