The Main-Lining Thread

I had zero larf and that helped my yield and GPW ratio.
An even canopy is a great thing
I'm feeling it could be possible. As each one of my 4 plants are mainlined and lollipoped carefully, there's hella light in there, 32 ranging 12-18 inches.

Props on that. I really feel like anything over 1gpw shows experience and control. Well done. Good luck getting back to that magic number!!!

The thing is I really dont think of myself as a great grower.
Honestly with fertilizer and HPS I would yield .3-.4GPW
I think organic growing made it error proof for me

Hello mainline fans, a couple pics of this beauty. It's a Neville's Haze and Super Silver Haze cross; but it's short unlike it's leggy sister. I'm stoked to see what these stout 8 colas with do. With a Dec 10th date for 10 week flower, this girl has a ways to go..

CIMG2798.JPG CIMG2796.JPG CIMG2797.JPG "mainlined" in quotes cuz this OG doesnt like mainlining. also super cropped. purposefully bonsai'd for structure. you can see the junctions all seem to have one bigger branch than the other. There are no dual branches on any nodes. so this is the best i could come up with to keep the sucker thing short and stout. last run was pretty but yielded pfft cuz of the mainlining and i didnt realize it picked up an early fall pattern when we we growing outside with this mother. mulligan

Shorty and leggy are done stretching, and budding up fast under 1100 ppfd. A great example of how pheno comes in to play. One is sitting on a milk crate and an oil drain pan. geez.

From same seed pack, an 85% sativa old school haze cross. With a Dec 10th target harvest date, I expect these things to really fatten up. I learned a lot about shaping this run. I obsessed about keeping them centered, so I trimmed all growth on sides parallel to hub. They adapted and are finally behaving. Hate trimming big lower fan leaves though.

How many nodes in before before you chop it back to just the two?
I use the nebula method and let grow to 6 nodes then top down to 3rd node. I aim to flip when colas are on their way to 2nd ring. I like trimming bud sites under what becomes the lower veg canopy after the stretch. wastes vertical, but man it does help focus resources on the colas.
