Thanks for the advice LSD-25. I definitely think that woulda helped giving them a small feeding at first. Still learning but I appreciate any help. Mainly went with coco because i have to order things online and its a lil cheaper and get a lil more for the money. I see why people like it, but definitely different than soil. I have a little bit of perlite i could add when i transplant, but seems like the coco has good drainage without it. Think its better with a little bit of perlite tho?

You can use a lil perlite, or just straight coco. i would use the small perlite at about a small hand full per gallon of coco. It will give the coco a bit more air and wont make it drain too fast. the quality of your water is much more important tho. It would make your life a whole lot easier to get into RO water systems, and how they work.

And with an ro water system comes a fresh water reservoir. go to amazon and get a pond enzyme. its just like cannazyme and seniscam but its way less expensive. add like 1-2ml per 5 gallons every 4 days and your res will stay scum free.. so.... lets recap. use RO water, clean your res with enzymes, use straight coco or mix with perlite, 50 to 100 ppms early in veg. consistent water temps 68 to 72. 40% to 70% humidity. room temps 75 to 80. clean good air coming in ect ect ect....... and cowabunga!!! I have some Gorilla Spirit that just got buried about two days ago.. Lets ride this wave together man!!! 20161027_162933.jpg

Idk if i could afford a ro system, but i like the idea of total control of whats in the water. First few watering i gave nothing but cal/mag and superthrive. I know some people think superthrive is superjive lol but ive used it on a few grows i didnt finish because my anxiety got the best of me, but i feel like its good for roots if nothing else. I had roots popping out the bottom of pots before started feeding. Im determined to finish this grow. Only way id start over is if i got busted or just do something that kills the plants. I dont think im doing to bad for a noob, i know with time and experince things will go better. Im very thankful for the help and knowledge you all have. Ive enjoyed this plant for a long time and all of this is a new world for me. I see why growing is addictive

How much volume per bag and where do you get it for 11.99 a bag? I dont have anywhere local to get it. only hydro shop i can find is like 30 miles away and in what i consider a big city and would rather order online. I hate walmart for mutiple reasons and after i started growing i hate it even more, they have everything not good for growing pot lol

Biochar with coco and a 3 part synthetic nute? isnt Biochar usually used in living soil grows?

coco naturally has a ph of 5.6 to 6.3.. coco and a 2 or 3 part nutes are really all you need. aside from the root hormone. growing in coco is really easy as long as the enviorment is suitable for plant growth. keep it simple and just use straight coco..... that being said I do plan on experimenting with worm castings and different types of teas in the flower stage. but so far ive had the best results using just 2 part nutes until week 6 or 7, then just water

Plants are looking alot better and growth has picked up. Starting to see preflowers on some of them definitely vigorous plants, ph problems barely slowed them down.

Did a little bit of trimming on the bottom of plants. Mainly to help with watering. Experimenting on the worst plant some. Cut most of the fan leaves off, im gonna veg a few more weeks. i figure the side branches will fill out. Looks better with the burnt up leaves gone. a few are showing preflowers but still to early for me to tell yet. As soon as i find my females im gonna transplant to 3 gallon pots and give at least a week more of veg to give roots a chance to fill pot some before the flip.

Been feeding at 400 ppm. Bumped up to 500 gonna see how they respond. Got a couple im suspecting are male by the looks of preflower but still to early for me to tell. Probably transplant and flip asap. Tallest ones are about a foot tall. not much size difference but starting to see some slight differences in appearance. One is heavy indica real fat fingers and darker in color. One i think is slightly more sativa than the others. All seem indica dominant tho. Ill post some pics tomorrow.
