Organic powdery mildew solution ??

I just imagine the milk getting trapped in the flower clusters and getting spoiled. Am I missing something here?
Yeah that's likely at least on some strains, depending on the bud/leaf structure and how far in they are. If I got it indoor I'd just use the baking soda. Haven't seen it for a while, I do a sulfur burn and cleaning between rounds to kill anything in there and it seems to keep it away. Plus spraying them in veg before going in with the baking soda, in veg it's harmless and keeps them clean.

Ok so first off hello to the fellow community I use too have a thread here as a kid back in the day like a decade ago but times have changed. I M an all organic no till gardener and I am having issues with pm right now......

I have tried serenade and it has kept it at bay but will not dissolve it...

Now I hear Isopropyl alcohol or hydrogen peroxide will do the trick....

Is this true if so which one how much to the gallon what kind of sprayer and lights on and off please help me out I could really use it..... by the way I have some things I can harvest now so I will just tough it out but the stuff that has a couple weeks I need to treat so I am mid flower....

PLEASE ORGANIC ONLY PLEARE AND THANKS
I have heard loads of dudes in Humboldt, CA use pesticides so it is all good bro.

I used hydrogen peroxide with a little neem oil and it seemed to work well. One gallon sprayer with water and I used about 20 ozs of 3% peroxide and about 2 teaspoons of a 70% neem. Neem not so good if you are late in flower.

Also check out skim milk and water about 10% skim milk to 90% water.

What kind of baking soda mix do you use bro? Can baking soda also be used to fight spider mites?

Just whatever's around, typically it's the arm & hammer brand. I doubt it would be effective for spider mites. It works by changing the ph on the surface of the leaves which stops the PM from growing. Only issue is you have to spray every 10 days or so, sooner outdoor if it's been raining.

I use 1 tspn per gallon of the baking soda, a few drops of vegetable oil, a few drops of dish soap to allow it all to bind/mix. I find it blends and works better if you let it sit for about 48 hours and give it a shake every once in a while.

I've also heard about the horsetail tea as well.picked up a bag but didn't have the chance to use it.it needs to be steeped for awhile and just didn't have time.I really wanted to try because a fellow member said it also may help with terps. rotated between green cure (sodium bicarbonate )and something called pm remover(lactose, sodium bicarbonate , garlic powder).it worked.I also had a dry season so it wasn't bad this year for pm (like summer '15).GroErr seems to have the recipe though, you probably have all those ingredients at home.good luck

I've read/heard about that horsetail mix but never tried it. I'm finding now that if I do a sulfur burn to kill everything in the room (no plants in the room or fans on while it's burning) in between rounds which is every 4 weeks or so, the PM stays away. I spray them with the baking soda mix just before going into flowering as well. I just couldn't keep it out until I started the sulfur burns.

what kind of lights are you using?
I've found that the 10k metal halide bulb with all that UV tends to have PM free grows.
I did a whole harvest last yr during the huge CA rainstorms and I didn't have a speck of pm. It rained the entire ending of my harvest
did you notice any difference in yields.... at the end of the day it doesn't matter because u pulled through stress free of bullshit mold

just curious if you noticed a difference with your yield due to more of the blue spectrum. I thought about using 10k all the way through long time ago ... but not even thinking for pm prevention but just for more terpenes and essential oils.
