Multiple runs...

So this will be my first journal in quite awhile, however there have been a few grows in between now and last time. Also this journal will sort of cover two concurrent grows...

This grow is in about week 3ish of flower. It is 30 plants from seed. This is my first SOG, and was a hodge podge of seeds I had laying around.
-After culling males and removing runts (to achieve 30 count) I have 8 Golden Goat x unk, 6 Afghani #1 and 16 blue dream x unk.
-plants are in my shed in a 4'x4' room, Mars Hydro 960W reflector, AC, dehumidifier, carbon filter, 4" exhaust fan, the whole shebang.
-will be cutting lower half of leaves off of all plants later tonight.

So I had a little bag of kimbo kush from a dispensary, and low and behold, in the last nug there were 5 seeds!
-anyways I popped 2 kimbo kush x unk about 8 days ago...we shall see what comes of them.
-also ordered fem DP strawberry cough, should be here soon, and I will get two of those going as well.
-will veg mothers of both strains in veg room in my basement consisting of two 4' 4 bulb T5 fixtures (currently being used to squeeze the last bits out of my poblano and habañeros.)
-will take clones eventually and move to flower room in shed.

That's all I've got for now. Apologies for the long winded intro, it will be more to the point from here on out. Will add photos in awhile when I go out to the shed.

Lots of improvements coming to the garden! I started in a semi-finished 12'x12' shed about 141 feet from my back porch. I am about midway to full completion.
When we moved onto the property, the shed was only a frame and stucco-like finish, no insulation, heat or drywall. That being said, it was very clean and nothing was rotting so nothing had to be replaced timber-wise. I have it boxed out and wired, insulated, and drywall will be coming this weekend. I've added three LED strip lights (one entry, one over cloning station, one over deep sink, both of which have also recently been added) My initial and current "growroom" was a 4'x4' room I framed into the corner, climate control consisting of dehumidifier, electric heater and window a/c unit. I've framed in another 4'x4' room adjacent so that now I have a mother room in addition to flower room. The initial power supply was a 10-2 Romex suspended across the top of the swing set, then to a phone pole, then into the side of the shed, all run off of one 20A circuit. To deal w the increased energy consumption I will be using, I brought a 100A sub panel into the shed, which will not only allow me to properly heat the place, but it will also allow me to run my lights on 240V!!!

My first couple years, my seedlings have been in my closet upstairs, my 'veg room' has been two T5s hanging in my basement, and my flower room has been 150 or so feet away in my shed. I am excited to take this to the next level w a proper 'laboratory!'

I apologize, but I haven't taken any new pics...I've been focusing on getting this shed finished before the snows hit, but the gals in the SOG have really exploded over the last few days. Thanks for taking the time to read my update, best of luck to everyone!

The shed is nearly finished...drywall up, waiting for the weekend for mud (except inside the flower chamber that is, will wait for this run to finish obviously)

The SOG is looking fantastic, almost 4 weeks in...



As far as the other grow, one Kimbo Kush x unk was culled, it didn't grow for four days, then the leaves curled up...that's ok because the Kimbo Kush x unk remaining looks super healthy, plus I got my order from Herbie's yesterday and have two strawberry cough (a low anxiety sativa?) seeds started, plus a freebie, Afghani Kush x Black domina (I like both parent strains!)

So they must be enjoying the regimen...nutes being used in this grow are Big Bloom, Sonic Bloom, some black powdered kelp stuff, CaMg, ArmorSi, great white was initially added when rooters were placed into gallon pots. I have only nuted once, about ten days ago. Prob will nute tomorrow when they get their next watering.

Thank you! I pretty much have RIU and YouTube to thank haha. I am grateful that I am in a place in life that I get to do this...

Here are kimbo kush x unk (big,) two DP strawberry cough (back,) and an Afghani x Black Domina freebie (front.) the strawberry coughs will really be my first attempt at non bagseeds!

Put the kimbo kush x unk into a 5 gallon smart pot...have you ever noticed that there are like two main 'phenos' of FFOF? There is the slightly basic one (about 7.7-7.8 ) and then there is the sulfuric acid one (about 5 haha.)

Anyways, recently opened a bag of the acid of Hades variety of FFOF so to my 5 gallon smart pot of soil I added 7 1/2 Tbsp of Lime, along w 1 1/2 tsp of Great White, mixed her all up, and put the mama kimbo x unk in (hopefully a mother)


This critter will keep the bad critters off of her, just took some peppers out from under these T5s so it was probably waiting for a new home

So my second grow, I had 3 blue dreams, 1 holy grail 69 freebie, one golden goat and one afghani...the holy grail and one of the blue dreams herm'd...so when I say golden goat x unk or blue dream x unk, I know which mom it was, but I don't know who donated the pollen...I have grown four grows since, all with the seeds from my mistake, and I haven't found a single seed since. I guess I am going to attribute the initial hermaphroditism on overfeeding due to being a complete noob. When I refer to the kimbo kush x unk mother plant, I am referring to a plant grown from a seed that I found in a bag of kimbo kush from a dispensary, so I have no idea if it selfed or if it was knocked up by some other funky strain or what
