wonder why that shits so much more expensive over there? spinosad is a bacteria that grows in the ground, you'd imagine they'd have a facility to culture it somewhere in europe so they wouldn't have to ship it all across the ocean.

and quit buying shit just cause someone says you need it. ask someone else before you drop 50 bucks on something. most people here will try to give you good advice, but some of them are just stupid (bless their hearts) and some are trolls who will try to get you to buy ridiculous shit just to amuse themselves

a ppm pen
a ph pen
thermometer
RH meter
solution to check both pens
ph up and down
hydrogen peroxide,
pyrethin spray
spinosad spray
syringes, graduated beaker, measuring cups/spoons (something to measure ml with)
whatever nutes you're using

thats what you NEED...theres a lot of other things that are handy to have, but stop and think if you really need anything not on this list before you drop money on it.

you're saying you need a dehumidifier...why? don't buy things because other people have them. if you can't come up with a better reason than "Bob has one" you don't need one.

Everyone NEEDS a lint roller -- especially if they have pets! I *hate* smoking lint and hair. It's just nasty.

Anyone ever try ozone to kill or slow down a bug attack in flower? Might not be as harmful to the plant if it's done during dark hours. O3 will definitely kill mold & mildew.

be very careful with ozone, it is a very good sterilizer, but its rough on plants, especially young plants

and i've heard people say (not seen any science) that it destroys terpenes and can damage trichomes

A great poster here (Al Bundy guy) turned me on to Fels Naptha soap. It costs about $1.50 US. You need a grater and some plastic or metal jars. Grate about 1" to 1.5" then out in jar and add hot water to emulsify. I used about a quart plastic jar from the dollar.
store.

In a 1 gallon water sprayer I put in about 3 to 4 tablespoons. A variation can include adding 1 or two table spoons of Canola oil. You can use the soap spray up to the last week of flower. Another variation is Fels Naptha and 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol.

Abso-fucking-lutely.
Want me to post a pic of a leaf with spider mite damage? I've got a few fresh ones. Sprayed neem oil today. Rosemaric acid is a great mild organic systemic, but it is not foolproof. I've got mites for sure, but the only place they are prevalent is right under the CFLs.
(Yes, CFLs. I don't want them to grow because I don't have room after the repot. Waiting for tent space... )
you ever try predator mites?
been using them for a yr now and they are hands down the best way to control mites.
albeit expen$ive.....
probably about 500 bucks a yr to fully control them.
but no sprays, no damage, no webbing..
more importantly for me, I don't have to take every damn plant out to dip them and such..
fuck that.
besides it's fully more comforting to me to imagine the mites being systematically hunted down, torn apart, and eaten alive...
yea..
fuckin-a right it is..

Yo bro. I wish there was some light spectrum or something that could be added to kill f***king spider mites.

Did you ever try Forbid or Floramite? One of my cronies who may actually be a "master grower" works to avoid any bugs but he said both are really good.
yes I have, and NO don't use them.
you'll just breed a supermite that is resistant to the miticides, also important to note that it's possibly the reason why the worlds bee population is decreasing at a verrrry alarming rate...
the mites I had before I got the predator mites were IMMUNE to, forbid, avid, azamax, pyrethrin, dichlorvos, and to a degree neem oil.
That's immune, meaning like maybe half would die simply from the physical attack (being dessicated and such) but they didn't even stop em.
150 bucks of predator mites had my plants picked clean in 10 days.
no joke.
and for the record, I was totally a skeptic...
I called bullshit on my buddies claim, he supplies organic strawberry fields all over the pacific northwest.
but he was right.
I was dead wrong, predator mites are badass
