Soil,coco and peralite, there 7.5L pots and i use flora nutes, thank man.

Can you run some a/c in there? Cooler temps help bring out the purple. In my experience at least.

It's always been my understanding, that even if it has the purple genes, colder temps still help bring out the purple. every purple strain I've got from a Canadian they recommended cold temps in flower.

It can, but strains with purple genes don't need cold to purple at all. In fact, most people frown upon using cold to manipulate a strain to appear purple.

i mean if you're growing to smoke, shouldn't matter how you get the purple to pop as long as you don't effect the potency or growth.like I said, just my experience/opinion

I would imagine causing a plant to suffer 50-60 degree temps would definitely slow metabolism and effect yield. I'm not trying to be pompous, just matter-of-fact.

Well the fact of the matter is I never said temps that low. I just asked if he could run a/c in his growing area. Temps I'm talking about are 75-70.

And I'm using the same. Mine, plus that of many, many growers on the internet. It takes 60 degrees and below to bring out a good purple in non-purple strains, obviously risking final yield, because the stomata isn't properly open in the cold like that.

And when I had a grow room I kept temps 75-70 and any strain that had purple in it turned purple before it even had proper flowers. And that includes granddaddy back 8yrs ago when it was actually decent and not commercialized. I even got a pheno of nirvanas Papaya to turn purp and pink

Edit: I use a tent now but I use to have a dedicated room.

Whatever you say, man. Just telling you how it is. Maybe you got purple spots to form on the stem, but I highly doubt you did so with the bud, unless you kept it about 100 degrees during the day and 70 degrees at night.

And I'm just telling you what I saw. Believe it or not, I don't care. I've consistently said this is all my opinion and experience. Dude growing is going to do what he wants and experiment with it like most of us. All I was trying to do was ask a question and give my perspective. At least I'm not on here like the rest of the assholes telling people to water their plant with Mountain Dew
