This thread is not meant to be a fight. It was meant for MWS to own up to the issue and fix it. Which they obviously wont do.
I have already taken it as a loss and reordred. Just wanted to let people know

They have nothing to own up to, bro. Everyone is telling you, it's not on them. You're lucky they even replied. They aren't legally allowed to discuss germination in any form with you.

They offered you a full cash refund post #17, so what are you bitchin about? Why would you want a reshipment from the same distributor/ breeders if none of your seeds popped in the original order? Doesn't make a lot of sense.

^ this right here...and the prev post about you being a complaining little kid.

Why would you even complain here for before your email dealings were completed.

In regard to "why didnt they reply faster"....Its a Different country on a different time zone from you with different public holidays...
They then need to read the email, investigate the email, maybe talk the the person who was packing that day, Go look at the seeds in question. Talk to someone who may be able to make a decision. As a business owner (u say...) you would understand that an email like yours creates a process.

They then offered to refund your $ in full...when they didnt have to....and your still complaining?

He needs to know that THE TUDE will only replace or refund guarenteed orders that fail to be delivered only.
You got bean pop failure. They're going to say "contact the breeder on that".
He got lucky that MWS refunded someone like him.

Falling back on public accusations that are falsely represented like that. Simply show his childish self. Just like Gary lointed out.

1st off your germination methods blow. Soaking seeds is a waste of time. Scuffing seeds is a waste of time.Paper towels are a wast of time, and possibly damaging to the roots. Go directly to the peat, that way you will not have to move around the delicate seedling so much, which every time you do you are risking damage to the roots. I germinate directly in 2x2 peat pots (in a tray with a dome on a mat) with germination mix, and then once the seed sprouts I move the cube into it's final home, depending on what medium I use, whether it be soil or hydro. This method guarantees no shock to the plant.
Secondly you cant blame Midweek Song for seeds that they have no control over, they are just resellers, who in this case sent your money back (I would have said fuck you, especially after your nasty email)
Lastly, I have been using Midweek for years and have had some duds, but that's part of the game and really not reflective of their business, more of the seed companies fault that sold them the seeds. They have always responded to my emails pertaining to shipment time within 24 hours, and once even when there was a problem with their credit card payment system and I needed the seeds rapidly, they shipped them on credit so I wouldn't be left hanging (I sent them cash the next day) I run a business too, and I admire them for their efficiency, selection and prices and I would never change from them being my main supplier. Besides that, you wont find another company (Lewis) out there that will go the extra mile to make a customer happy, and I have delt with them all.

i bought some seeds from MWS, I have a great success rate and I could only get 5 of 11 pura vida seeds to pop.NO MATT WAS USED,lol I just accepted it and hope 1 of those 5 is a good one. the others that didn't pop did the same thing as op's, some half popped, then nothing, some are sitting at the bottom of the tray and never even popped. I do have one of the freebies that popped, but is the slowest growing plant in my veg.
Again, it just seems like old seed stock, or they aren't stored properly at MWS. Just my opinion

This is interesting. My last purchase from MWS: 5 Fruit Punch seeds, so far none has sprouted, my last seed is germinating as we speak. I'm not gonna go through the "how did you germinate them" spiel as everyone has their preferred way of doing it. The order before that 5 fruit punch only 1 out of 5 germinated & a freebie "fast & vast auto" never germinated. I used Barney's farm till 1 of my orders got hijacked by customs, it was either we will resend but if it gets hijacked again "that's your problem" (not in those exact words) or refund instead, I took the refund and went to nirvana till I got a whole order of 12 seeds that never germinated, I emailed but never got an answer. Saw MWS advertisement on RIUP guaranteeing shipment and the best seeds in town, after these 2 malfunctions in seed orders I guess I'll be looking for another seed bank to order from. Trippyness you might be on to something after all. I might try Attitude this time and see what they offer.

They buy seeds from breeders. There is no guarantee the breeder is doing it right. Is there? Where? Show me that.....
They stood by their GUARANTEE by refunding his money in personal messaging and closed the issue.
They contacted him by email and he admitted it here
I send them emails both here on RIU and email, they got back to me 24 hours ago, but nothing today.
Quite pissed to be honest, I have used many seedbanks over the years with this same germ method.
Always 99% ( have had a few not germ , but that will happen). This is just absurd.
He then gets pissy that they don't respond in the timely manor HE expects!
Could be, never had this issue.
Will check back in 7 days and update.
Just odd as never had an issue before.
Will keep this updated, at this point I dont see them germing from past experiance.

At this point I felt he didn't have as much "experience" as he thinks. He would have known that 7 days is long dead already. - can't even spell experiance (his spelling).

@Midweek Song is rufusing to even respond to my messages via email or here.
I know this as I get a read receipt on emails and they are reading them (Lewis).
So it seems Lewis has no care in his customers or fixing a very odd problem.
I am a business owner myself and this is not how anyone should do business.
I regret paying via BitCoin and regret ever using MWS.
I will reorder from Attitide and my seeds will be fine. Just aggravates me that it has come to this or that this even happened.
For reference my germination method has been the same for a very very long time. Never an issue, so its the seeds...

We do not like to answer complaints on here as it can get quite messy as it has above. We obviously have the answer to our email reading through the comments above and totally disagree with you that ALL 13 seeds could have gone wrong. Impossible to be our fault im afraid. They were from 4 different breeders including Grand Daddy Purple who we NEVER have a problem with. We, unfortunately, are unwilling to send replacements out on this occasion as they will be from the same batch, same breeder, same stockist, so cannot see how that will resolve anything so what I will do is send you a full refund in cash to your address.

Sorry we were not able to live up to your expectations on this occasion and happy growing to you for the future

I'll say this again! MANY seed retailers and breeders,,,,,,are NOT honoring ANY claims of failure connected to "SOAKING" methods!

Attitude will NOT, and send you to the breeder on the issue! They are re-sellers and have no way to confirm a seeds quality from any breeder supplying them!
SAME for MWS! There are 2 ways call foul here. The breeder has bad beans or the grower made an error in germination.

Several of us pointed out that there could have been points of failure that he chose not to accept as possible, because of his "past success at this method".....

I say from reading between the lines the kid made a BooBoo and won't admit it!
Thought he could get the beans replaced by this story. He didn't know that re-sellers tend to say - Call the breeder.
Carried on the charade in public trying to "shame" MWS into giving him beans back after they offered and then sent a refund!

So NICK. This is shame on trippy! NOT shame on MWS! They HONORED their guarantee! IN THE PROPER WAY!

woa there big boy, I was just relating a problem I had that matches trippyness, sorry but if a supplier has 12 seeds that don't do nothing but stare right back at ya, maybe they shouldn't be in the business of selling seeds or take a closer look at their supplier. I'm sorry $180.00 worth of seeds over 3 orders (1 from barney's and 2 from MWS and only get 3 plants not very good percentages. This is just my opinion

I do agree, he handled it wrong, I never said he didn't, MY POINT, if i spend $150 on 11 beans after reading they have the best beans and best service, I expect to get that.
if the beans are bad, it is MWS's responsibility to make it right, they collected my money, they handled the product. If you buy a t.v from wal-mart and it doesn't work, where do you take it, to sony? My only point in the matter.
