THIS. Weed must be DEscheduled, not REscheduled. It's a fucking harmless plant with medicinal benefits. Until it's descheduled, it will continue to make Federal Law and the government supporting it look arbitrary, capricious and indifferent to the needs of the people it would govern.
But too many people in this country vote for fascism, thinking somehow they'll be more free.

Price driven by simple economic forces is a good thing. Millions of arrests annually for a non-crime is a bad thing. There is nothing inherently valuable about cannabis. Just like tomatoes.
Especially when the government holds the US Patent to all thing cannabis. A plant. Since when do plants get patented?

Sky, please list the patents you are worried about, and their creation and expiration dates. Then please explain the basis of the patents? Hysteria is never a good argument, unless you are talking to morons who need no convincing.
Natural living things cannot be patented. A new method to grow them, or a genetic enhancement to them can be patented.
