It's legal for me in California now so i free to grow but will it be a good idea to grow in a wooden cabinet on my balcony? Any feed back would be good.

That will almost for sure not work..
Idk about CA but CO has a rule that you may not grow in an outbuilding or outside..

Well that's just crazy. I would think environmentally it would make sense to allow outdoor growing if concealed. Talking mainly power usage here BTW lol. Gotta say that so the thread doesn't derail in a debate about environment

Idk how you would save on power usage trying to keep an outbuilding climate controlled? I think their reasoning would be more on the lines of smell and ease of theft.

Actually I said outdoors not an outbuilding. I grow in an outbuilding in the winter and nope not cheap or energy saving at all

Dont you have an empty closet by any chance? It would a lot more convenient to do it on a closet! Thats just my opinion though!

Well I'm not worried about that what im worried about is that will it affect my plants if i have them outside in a concealed box ?? Will they grow healthy and regular or will they be like some greenhouse weed?

Well I'm growing cfl so the power shouldnt be an issue aslo i have a power supply outlet on my balcony. What I'm worried about is will it affect my plants if they are in a conceled wooden box on my balcony? Thats the problem my wife wont let me grow inside so my only option is my balcony

As long as you can keep your temps low inside the cabinet you'll be fine! Also the humidity plays a big roll as well!!

I grow in my clothes cupboard in my bedroom nobody see's it and there are no smells

they don't want you growing outside so the neighborhood kids won't find it and steal it. doesn't matter to them that its on a balcony in a cabinet, if they find it, thats outside

I'm in Los Angeles CA mostly sunny lately with occasional rain. Right now its fall about to be winter and it doesnt get ridiculous cold though.
