like what exactly is the mentality of cutting spending on schools, one of the most important things affecting the future of a country?

did someone say

"you know, i think the youth now are smart enough,, we dont need to make them smarter, that wouldnt be good."

i simply cant seem to wrap my mind around the fact,, can one of you "pro-government" people explain this to me?

As far as attacking me for "grouping" Conservative and Liberal, that's like saying that I must be a staunch Conservative, because I think taxes suck, and there is no middle ground.

As far as education. Why shouldn't people be allowed to use their tax dollars to choose where their child attends school. If people want to send their children to public school then that is their business. If they want to shell out $3K to send their child to a catholic school or christian school that should also be their business. The government's obligation should be to make sure that the money to allow the parents to have their children educated is there.

The State should not dictate where children attend school, it should be a choice of the parents, or the student.

Besides, despite throwing more and more and even more money at the public education system it has still failed to generate any results. The Centralized Education System is a failure.

yes, conservatives lower tax, but when you lower tax you lower the amount of available services to your citizens. Thats just how it work, if there is less money there is less for the country. Same deal with privitization, the money you used to give your country for services is now being spent on things that ARENT for you.

Conservatives will lower taxes then boast for privitization of schools, highways, library's blah blah blah because they will say that there is no money for it. And no one will want their taxes raised back up so they will SETTLE FOR NOTHING.

And what this means is the poor will get a lesser quality of basic personal needs and this is killing equality. all humans are not equal, but they deserve to be treated that way (until they have voided the rights of others). Poor, rich, black, white, man woman... it doesnt matter...

you conservatives cant hate racial minorities so you now you opress the poor.
