That is discriminatory. He cannot do that. He writes a prescription and it is up to YOU to decide how you want to obtain your medicine based on the choices provided by Health Canada. The only issue with prescriptions is that they 'must' be originals. Therefore, if you wish to grow and you also need interim medicine while you grow, you will require two originals copies. One to send in with your 'registration' to HC (Not application. Notice the difference?) and one to send to the Licensed Producer.

Any other restrictions placed on the prescription other than dosage and TCH/CBD levels, he can't tell you fucking squat. Report that fuckers ass.

See if there is a Canadian Cannabis Clinic in your area. They don't charge you anything, but you do have to have a GP. Your GP doesn't have to be on board with the idea but CCC asks that you talk to your GP first. Some GP's are reluctant to write the prescription but they will refer you to CCC. Some will not, in which case you call CCC and have them email you a self referral form with permission for them to obtain your records from the GP. If your GP still refused to release your records to CCC, then you will need to obtain them yourself and submit them to CCC. This is what I had to do. Luckily, I already had a copy of my records on file and handed a copy of those in. Within a couple of weeks you'll get a call for an appointment where you'll see a doctors assistant live and then a web conference with the GP, followed by a "consult" with someone who sets you up with a GP, which in my case I told her the only thing I needed from her was my prescription and I would take care of the rest, and that's what she did. The only thing I had to do was show my OHIP card. I got a one year script for 5g/day.

That in itself is a barrier. There are over 300,000 British Columbians that do not have a family doctor due to the medical system being a fucking joke. Doctors have the right to refuse to take ANY patient, so effectively they alone get to decide whether my quality of life is less important than somebody else's even though 100% of their salary comes from taxpayers. It's the reason I stopped using any medical services...and I also haven't paid medical premiums for years. I am an autonomous being, I do not allow others to determine my future, particularly those who have no interest in me or my well being.
Fuck the doctors, fuck the scammabis clinics, fuck HC, I'm going to do what I need to do.

Which is what most of us have been doing up until now, but some of us are tired of the hide and seek game with landlords and such and always worrying about people ratting me out and cops coming to the door. By 'registering' I have cemented my new 'legal right' and now nobody can bother me.

CCC may be able to help people without a doctor. I'd suggest contacting them for people in Ontario. Outside of here, I don't know what to suggest.

That is essentially correct....
that's assuming the government doesn't mail out your info in a big envelope window...
and you get your door kicked in by thieves...
and then you have an obligation to call the cops to investigate....so they might be coming like it or not...
trust me its bothersome....

but thanks for the CCC tip for those who need it...

I think the government learned their lesson on that when they mailed out those notices to the MMAR registrants of the upcoming MMPR regs. As far as thieves, it's not like I'm shouting it from the rooftops that I'm growing but if it does happen, at least I 'can' call the cops because I will be legally registered and won't be afraid to.

Anyway, here's my security system.

What a beautiful beast
ya i got dogs too...two .anatolian shepard/husky....a much bigger and hairier version of my avatar....
also have motion detection... and heat sensing lights ... video cams... throughout....
and still....I got ripped...because life happens...and sooner or later you can't be there to protect yourself from it....
ex. my mother's funeral...
The cops have been supportive and have the goof's dna and Face to go with...and are close to solving...
and done a security evaluation,and made some other good suggestions....
they have also offered up victim services...to help with the "head game"
but not sure if its needed or not....maybe for the wife...lol
I am investigating quality tazers...for some non lethal force... non lethal at least until I get the perp...hogtied....
and kick the ....well you get it...
