1st get your mind out of the gutter you filthy anaimal. What I mean is male vs. female plants. I keep seeing auto, female, feminized, male and other terms I'm not familiar with. In my simple mind (newb), I should plant a male with a female to cross pollinate, producing not only bud but also seeds for the use of future plants. (Am I far off base here?) My guess is that auto means some mad scientist found a way to get one plant to pollinate itself; but does that means it will produce buds but not seeds for future plants?
School me, I'm new and arguably not the sharpest tool in the shed. I'm sure the answers are out there, I just lazy and I don't want to read through a ton of different posts to maybe get all the answers. . . .
Thanks in advance.
