Scales man, follow scales. You'll see the trend of notes and chord progression. The right sounding noye is either one or two frets away, almost always. Obviously if you're needing to jump up a few whole steps then this doesnt apply lol

Among the many recent and horrible socktrolls to come through here lately, I hate these two the most. to answer the question, i'd say solely on the sheer fact that verny can play the guitar, and david plays the bone-flute.
So in my mind verny is less irritating
