pH meter calibration problem

Hi there !
Broke my pH meter and ordered a new one . Problem is it calibrates at 4 ,6.86 ,9.18 and I only have a pH7 valibration solution . It calibrates to 6.86 by the push of a button when the pen is in a solution of the same pH ( 6.86 ) . Knowing that when calibrated at 6,86 it really is at 7 ,can I take readings and add 1.4 to get the correct pH ?
Thank you !

I've never seen a pH tester that calibrates at those numbers? They are generally 4.0 or 7.0 from most manufacturers.
I dont think a difference of .14 (not 1.4 haha) is going to throw off your tests much at all. Close enough to give you a fairly accurate reading to gauge where you are at with ph in your res.
What brand of pen are you using?
