As far as I know you can't have a cg and still retain your plants, it says on the card if you're allowed to posses plants or not. If you heard otherwise then I would like to see the link.
yes I believe you can as theres an option on the paperwork for plant possession. Or atleast there was. No reason a patient cant grow there own yet use a CG to procure meds for them. They may be immobile or can't leave the house for whatever reason. Just because you cant leave the house doesn't necessarily mean you can't tend a garden in the home

you can have a cg and still retain your plant rights.

anyone else who says otherwise is ill informed. have you never even looked at the caregiver forms?

Plant possession: You must select one box.

SELECT ONLY ONE:
I will possess the plants
My caregiver will possess the plants
this is for patients who grow their own, but still want to acquire from other people, legally, under the act.

say from another patient who grows their own. adding them as a caregiver so they can transfer.

You can have a caregiver, but you have to pick whether it is CG or you that is responsible for growing your plants.
If you sign caregiver, and you opt. to grow YOUR OWN plants, the only thing that is different is that he can posses 2.5 ounces for "you", and assist you in medicating if you are disabled.

Doesn't mean you will get in trouble for doing both, but technically its not allowed under the MMMA.

What would be the point of having a cg and still growing your own plants? As far as I know, patients are allowed to go through any avenue to get medication for themselves, even if it's buying it off of the street corner. You don't have to have a cg to legally purchase meds.

In the event you need someone to physically help you medicate.

Technically patients can get there meds from wherever they need to, but you can't have multiple caregivers. The person running the risk in any caregiver to non primary patient sale is always the caregiver.

Having said this patients may still be harassed for their involvement.

A prime example of this is dispensaries. Dispensaries are only illegal for the dispensary sellers because they are selling to non primary patients.

One instance of using this arrangement, would be like i stated earlier, but let me ellaborate. I currently have a patient i signed 2 months ago. She wants to learn, so right now, i am growing plants for her, while she learns the basics through research and occasionaly coming over and getting hands on experience. When she is ready and has acquired all of the nessecites, well submit and change form giving her plant possesion, and ill send 12 cuts home with her. Once there, ill go to her house, and continue training her in her set up, until she has it down to a science. This is just one example.

But since it seems so many people, didnt even know that a patient can have a caregiver and retain plants..its no wonder our system is so easily manipulated and so many people are ran through the court system.

Hi Califin!

of course you and your cg can arrange exactly what youre looking for. If I was a few miles closer you'd be
with the best herb at the lowest cost guaranteed!!

to the misinformed;

on the application as you cg I would select the option that allows YOU to retain your plant possession rights(instead of your cg)
and since I could supply all of my patients with only one branch of one plant ever week......you'd be privy to the other branches as needed, all legal like too. I do it all the time to help patients begin their own gardens. I supply until they can themselves.

peace.

welcome to the Band(banned)

would allow awesome access to said successful cg's garden bounty, as in rare genetics, clones, cuts, seeds, I never have collected compensation for those items given to my growing patients

expert tutelage
avoid stranger dangers, like tumbleweed, eagle 20 etc. The buck stops with the cg, a real live grower you can reach out to any time needed, for advice, assistance, instructions and that personal touch of care only a cg can provide.

It took me months till my first harvest. I signed a cg on my way out of the clinic, met me in the lot , then drove 30 miles monthly to meet me half way until my supply was ready.

peace

Yes you can have a c.g and still maintain possesion of your plants!

I have a c.g and I am a c.g to my lady! I suggest most do that, it allows you to have 7.5 oz's cured and dry, and 12 plants!

even if you dont grow it allows me to have 2.5 oz's for me im a pt, it allows me to have 2.5 for her because im her c.g and she can have 2.5 because she is a pt! it kinda helps when you get plants from your c.g with over 7 oz's on them!

Peace
