Hey peps......has anyone ran a dwc using flora nova bloom only??? I know if using RO you'll need to add calmag...!UT I'm saying using flora nova bloom from start to finish???
I use it in rock will exclusively with tap water. Left for 24 hours and then ph'd too. My grow has been excellentHey peps......has anyone ran a dwc using flora nova bloom only??? I know if using RO you'll need to add calmag...!UT I'm saying using flora nova bloom from start to finish???
Im using mine on auto flowers. running at about 1000 ppm now im half way through flowering. That doesn't include the water at 350ppm from the tap. My meter reads like 1200-1300 ppm. Ive hit slight nute burn but I don't flush, just reduced the ppm. It's called leaching. So there is enough nitrogen in the floranova bloom to get the plant through that without needing floranova grow...... sounds like this would be the perfect nutrient for autoflowers
It's not a very good hydro nutrient, it settles quickly and doesn't mix well, i wouldn't recommend people to buy it for hydroponics, the general hydroponics 3 part is really good for dwc/rdwc and it's super cheap. It's also super concentrated so very easy to burn a plant with it. You can use it in a hydro system , it's just gonna make it harder than it should be.Dwc would be a bit different since it wouldn't have to travel through lines
I have used that stuff, it works good, it's just a lil pricey is all.Advanced Nutrients has that three part micro grow bloom with the pH perfect technology which claims as long as you use their product AZ described it will maintain your Reservoir pH in The Sweet Spot for up to a week
Seems like a ton of extra work when the 3 part is so cheap and designed for dwc/rdwc systems.I can't agree that FNB isn't for hydro rdwc.. I've used it as a stand alone fertilizer in my Waterfarms for years... It is super thick.... When i buy a gal i put some marbles in the jug and shake for a few minutes.... Then i run a qt. at a time through a blender.... Then decant into dark brown bottles, with a few more marbles..... It still needs a good shaking every time you use it... I give them all a few shakes once a week or so...I always change drip rings about 1/2 way through a grow.... Here's a couple waterfarm plants feed only fnb.... https://www.rollitup.org/t/sun-systems-lec-315-reviews.742794/page-11
I've used both in a water farm floranova works just like scottyballs but it not only fouls the rings the grit fouls the pickups that feed the rings the 3 part flora series is like the small-block Chevy of the nutrient world about mid bloom I switch off to soul synthetics like I did to this plant yesterday but up until now she has been all gh 3 part & I could easily finish this grow with it I'm just experimenting when I get in over my head with the water farm yodaweed is one of my main sources for information that works just sayinSeems like a ton of extra work when the 3 part is so cheap and designed for dwc/rdwc systems.
I've used the maxi series & what I like about is the fact it stores good it also has a schedule that allows other gh additivesAs said already, floranova gunks/clogs up shit. It is a complete one part yes, but i'll only use it in setups where I feed pots of coco or dirt where I mix it in a reservoir/can and use a water wand. I'll never use that dirty stuff in my hydro setups ever again.
I've rocked the flora series for yrs, still do here and there out of boredom, but I would go with maxiseries. Too me, the floraseries is not cheap. Like the FN, the maxi is also a complete one part, but way cheaper, not to mention easier then the floraseries.
