Not sure if I should harvest when directed..

According to general hydroponics guide for base nutes, I am halfway through week 7 of flower and I should be flushing next week, then harvesting.. this is my first grow and I'm not sure its going to be ready as the chart says. Im using (8)26w CFL and (1) 40w CFL, warm 2700K. Multiple pics below.. Any opinions?

No where near done.

Very few strains go 8 weeks. Expect 10-11 at minimum. You got 3-4 weeks at least.
You are correct in thinking it will not be done in 2 weeks. You probably have 4 weeks or so left

Thanks for the quick response, should I be altering the amount of nutrients I'm giving them or just keep things the same? I'm currently using 8 ml of flora grow and 4ml of flora micro to 1 gal of water.

Correction I'm not giving any flora grow, it's actually 8ml of flora bloom.

And don't listen to GH. They have nothing to do with MJ, even though i'm betting a massive chunk of their money comes from MJ growers.

Is it normal for there to be no smell at this point? I mean it kinda has a strong plant smell, but the only time I get that good dank smell is when I move them for watering I get a slight hint. From what I have read they should be very strong by now..

Not until you start seeing more amber hairs will you get much smell.
Then there is also the fact if you deal with them daily you get use to the smell.

Do you know the strain? Do you know what the breeder said was the flower time? Use those as guidelines. If not, figure 60 days, 8.5wks, as the minimum. Start checking them at 7wks, look for clouding trichs, browning and receding hairs and swelling calyx. Towards the ends you'll notice the plant go from white to a golden color as it ripens.

There are so many variables that determine when the plant gets finished so following everything written and or spoken to the letter will most likely end in failure. Guidlines , mere guidelines and nothing more . Trichomes, thats what makes the plant aromatic and delicious, without those it smells like, well, like a plant....
