Led Users Unite!

Seeing as how I just made a topic about half an hour ago about LED's, I'm gonna sit on the sidelines and see whats up. I'm also VERY interested in hearing what LED users gotta say.
Got a 2'x4'x5' grow tent and have 12"x18" 1200 watt LED grow light about 4' above plants - ph is 60 - air temp 75-80 degrees - water 78-80 degrees and have fan running... The plants seem to like it so far at 4 days they are stealthy using DWC- rapid router plugs - water circulating over plants and air bubbles under pots. Am I ok? I'm thinking the light needs to be closer?

... been a bit busy

so i just did a complete grow under 2 65w leds from viperspectrum and they were killer, my brothers a growing condisore and has been for many years, and just set up his grow room with all new leds, i went from clone to fully grown in just under three months, and got 9 ounces off of four plants! not sure what other people got off of four plants but i thought that it was a decent amount, so leds definaltey do the job, depending on the size and set up!

250+ grams from 2 65w Viperspectrum you got pics of that?

That's a very good yield. 1.9gr/watt?
You shouldn't ask what people get with 4 plants though, because i get around 21+ ounces p/p (albeit probably a lot bigger than yours) and use a lot more light watts in doing so.

Yes. 4 2.25oz plants on 2 viparspectrum panels sounds like wet weight. Or full stem. The viper panels are not the worst but just not enough par. I can't imagine 2oz single tops so maybe many tops per plant giving high stem weight. Those lights are far better than mars and shit but just not enough wattage

2'x4' grow area and how many real watts? For the cheap 1200w amazon panels it's usually 160-300w actual. For cheap lights you need at least ~50w per sqft.

Don't start discrediting the 900% par increase leds produce. I doubt these eBay listers are anything but honest in their listing. VSFL
Seems to be an increase lately in stupid fucking questions. Probably kids doing holiday shopping online then decide they wanna spend it on their selves........and buy an LED off amazon/ebay

Coming Soon. Diamond Series 200 EX-OIL

Minimal details at this point but from what I gather it is intended to be used supplementary to any light source and is supposed to increase oil production, provide increased protection from pests and thick density when added to pre-existing grow environments. (Sounds like it might be UV heavy?) ALL CREE and covers a 3x3

Kindve looks like their older veg light w/ whites in the middle clusters. Would be nice w/ the UV. Hear they're finally coming out w/ more reliable chips.

Didn't realize how hot the mean well drivers get. Might have to make a frame for computer fans or just one giant fan on them all

Hey everybody who is using LEDs out there. Lets join up and start chattin about this and that. Figuring crap out. Seeing what works for you, but not me, etc. etc.

It would be much appreciated if only people who USE CURRENTLY leds for mostly full grows, or vegetative grows using only LEDs.

HID users, we already know you are better than us, and your buds are bigger than ours. But there is a first time for everything, and a new beginning at ever end of something old.

ALSO IF YOU ARE AN LED SALESMAN TRYING TO SELL YOUR PRODUCT THIS IS NOT THE THREAD FOR YOU! STAY AWAY! IF YOU ARE AFFILIATED WITH A COMPANY AND HAVE BIAS FEEDBACK WITHOUT RESULTS. STAY AWAY!

Thank you all, and I hope this thread EXPLODES in growth...

LED USERS UNITE!

Current Status: Not Growing Yet

You can see the transition to where the lights turn off.

edit:Actually looking back at the graph what i said was innaccurate. My room maintained 28c at canopy (you can feel the heat from the LEDS. Where'as with my old 6k worth hps, my canopy was about 38 !1
