hey guys, sorry for the lighting u know how hps makes it orange...my buds are hanging over and only showing a few Amber trichs so she still has at least a week or two. She turned 8 weeks yesterday. I flushed yesterday 2 gallons ph and molasses. Much love and any tips will help!!image.jpegimage.jpegoh and it's like they are putting on more weight every night the top pic was taken just now and the bottom was taken 2 days ago

It could be another 2 - 3 weeks to get 40% or more amber... If you know the strain look it up for flowering times.... Sounds like you have a way of monitoring the trichs so it's a waiting game... I have no idea how much more potent the plant gets by waiting for them to go from cloudy to amber... Have fun!

Also is your intention to get lots of cbn as opposed to thc? I ask because you mention high levels of amber trichomes

Well I use the 30x loupe. Lots of milky, a few clear and then the few Amber. I don't want any white hairs. I want bud not hairs lol...so I'll wait as long as I have to. I have a ww 2 weeks into flower and I didn't top so she is getting really big and taking up space. But I'll still wait lol...yea I want the couch lock stone. The breeder said 7 to 9 weeks but I don't listen to them...I go a little longer. How much do u think I might get off this one? 400

Let hope a pound!! I was hoping for at least 7 ounces...I always let them veg for at least 7 weeks Bc I like a stout tree!! Wow a pound....ill def keep u updated. I last grew in a crappy overpriced box and got about an ounce that wasn't even ready...I learned from that mistake!! Thanks for the tips guys!! Oh and I used maxibloom, koolbloom liquid and then dry and hydrogaurd.

Yes, I like a one hitter quitter and I know ak is sativa dominant so I'm waiting for the cbn to take hold...it will take a bit but I can wait lol

My white widow is 2 weeks into flower and I messed up and put her in miracle gro but I'm flushing her every other feeding. My next grow before summer I already got ff soil and I'll be letting her veg for 8 weeks might scrog idk yet but this one is looking good just some nute burn..image.jpegimage.jpeg

Yeah I been growing ak47 for a while now . Mines more on the sativa side . Gotta indica pheno that finishes in 65 - 67 days . But the sativa pheno I start flushing when the caylax are swelling . Around the start of week 9 . It's strong potent smoke man . My heart beats extra hard when I'm on it . Very racy .

Eeeew I don't like that kind of smoke...the website told me this strain was 75% indica and 25% sativa...I'm waiting for mostly Amber trichs Bc I don't like to be paranoid and racy....the white widow had more sativa percentage than the ak!! Wtf?

I might just be me with the racy Ness but my sativa pheno looks similar to your one but a bit of a stretch . Same sort of bud formation . I kept both phenos but the sativa was more enjoyable to smoke .

Man so I guess I should let the Amber trichs take over?? I do not like a speedy feeling. Mellow and energetic is ok but speedy is kinda not my thing...what about the widow?

Yeah is energetic and mellow . I've cut down to only smoking on weekends so that's probly why it's so speedy feeling. But is a strong smoke for a sativa hybrid . I've kept it going for 6 years. It's a good keeper. What breeder is the widow from?

I'm not sure. I got the seeds from marijuanaseedshop.com and every one has popped and they can take a beating without hermieing on me. So far so good. Although they didn't tell me the breeder
